Email templates not accessible for all accounts
Hi, I create several templates folders and email templates according our needs. I checked and both of them are fully accessible for all accounts. However, one of the accounts can not see the templates, only can see the folders (but they remains empty). Even I tried to create a template with the affected account but the issue persist. Does you have any idea why is this happened? Thanks,

Hi I have developed a PBX Application tat would track the data of Calls of my sales team with the Leads. Now, i wanted zoho to generate a Report on a timely basis regarding the duration of the calls by auto identifying the Contact/Lead related to the Called Number...In short, I wanted zoho to identify the contact name associated to the phone number in the Contacts module by reading the data that is obtained from the PBX Application as an input. Is there a way to create an alert for leads which meet a certain criteria? More specifically, I have a custom field within the Leads module which I use to show me leads which I have given estimates to. I would like to have an alert to tell me when it has been one week since the date which I gave them an estimate. Is this possible? Thanks!
Open Leads vs. Todays Leads? What setting makes them such?
What makes a lead Open or Todays Lead in the Predefined Views in the Leads Tab? There is nothing in the Lead Status field selection in a lead that has in the pulldown menu "open" or "Todays" Thank you. Fyi, I think I figured it out. I went to Reports and saw that Todays Leads relates to Created or Modified Time. Still need to know what makes an Open Lead?

Problem on "Expected Closing On" Field
I was trying to add summary under Deals Tab. One of the field there is Expected Closing On (date) but can't type anything in the text box.
Few States are only listed on drop down menu for State
I try to add lead using quick add but I just noticed that there are only few States listed on the drop down menu for states specifically for United States.
Looking for some more functionality in zoho crm reporting
As the number of users we have using zoho crm grows, so do our reporting needs. I love being able to schedule a report to automatically mail out but I have a few requests. 1. A sort order for the reports that can be saved. I am not looking for grouping, just a sort. For example, on some of our Potential reports, I would like the report to sort the list by closing date. Yes, I can do it manually but there is no way to export or schedule the report with that sort in place. 2. Report scheduler

Installed Zoho CRM 5.0 on Windows 7. Starting the server it gives an error and stops. Error: Srating server from location c:\Adventnet\Zoho CRM Free edtion......... Exporting Reports Problem
When I create a report in accounts I expect it to be sorted by account. However this is not so. By clicking 'account' it then sorts alphabetically. Then if the report is exported to an Excel or PDF file it is no longer sorted alphabetically. I should also note these are all 'tabular ' reports. Dennis
Email template wyswig problems
When I create an email template using the built in wyswig (i don't code html) it does not work properly and is also inconsistent. For example: I will input text with a specific font and size and when I save and then mail it, it has different fonts and sizes. Also, If I put numbers or other characters, the formatting does not appear like I put it when I inputted the data. Any suggestions?

Exporting Addresses of Converted Leads
Is it possible to export the addresses of converted leads only (specifically Closed Won leads) to Excel? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Error in field tab order causing user revolt!
The generated tab order of the fields for contact address do not tab properly. When filling out the fields, tabbing skips from Street to State to Country. I have attached images showing the tab skip pattern (it skips City and ZIP). I have also attached an image from the Page Layout area. I have tried toggling this between Left-Right and Top-Bottom (and saving in between steps) but it does not result in the correct tab order. This issue is making internal clients VERY RESISTANT to adopting this platform
Problem Sending an Email Template (Quote)
When sending a quote, I always send the customer a copy in pdf. Hello, I'm becoming a big fan of Zoho's awesome integration and have been spreading good words throughout the tech blogs. Anyways, I've tried setting up a client on Zoho CRM about a year ago and it wasn't successful. The learning curve was difficult for client and we moved onto a simpler solution such as Highrise and Batchbook. I've gone that route myself, and have recommended others do the same. Improved Email Marketing Capacity
Hi there We are a partner, and are really liking using Zoho CRM However, we are not comfortable with the Email Marketing provision, it is not enough for some of our clients, so we cannot move them onto the system. One issue is the 250 email limit. Account/Product correlation:
We can't figure out how to create a separate record for a product (asset) when attached to an account. Example: We sell 5 versions of a product. We want to track which version of software a customer has, and which one we've shipped to them. We've added a "Version Shipped" field to the Product page. Customer A has version 3, and we've shipped them version 5. I add the product to the customer record, and under the custom "Version Shipped" field on that product, note that we've shipped them version

Problem importing leads
I can't import any leads. It keeps telling me that some of the required fields are blank. I started by exporting my leads so I'd have the right template and know which data to use. How can I tell which fields are causing the error? Thanks!
Note Ownership Change in CRM
Changing note ownership is raising it's ugly head again. There is a set of built in rules in Zoho CRM that will change the owner of a note when the master entity (lead,contact,account) changes to the new owner. What I want to know is if someone from Zoho give me the business case of why the owner of a note in the system would change for ANY reason. A note is a record of a past event. It should NEVER change.
Redent updates to Potentials have "Vanished"
This morning during our weekly conference call several of our company's users reported and demonstrated that changes they made to potentials records had been deleted and older versions of the records had be reinstated. Also, other records in Potentials that did not fit the criteria for specific Views were suddenly showing up in that view. In other words, the filtering criteria were being ignored by Zoho. Is this somehow related to any development testing Zoho has been doing for the October ... err....
zoho email send timeout using google SMTP server (from within zoho crm)
i have been getting timeouts 80% of the time sending email from zoho crm for the last 2 weeks, and it is unusable. my domain email is being handled by gmail, then Zoho Email uses POP to pull it from Gmail (extra $5 to Zoho a month). My SMTP and POP servers are smtp.gmail.com:465, and pop.gmail.com:995, respectively. per Zoho support, i am using the above configuration so my outbound emails are addressed as "username@mydomain.com", instead of "username@zoho.com". i am physically located in brazil
Zoho CRM gets Hung up when I click on "Leads"
When I click on leads, the frame repeats itself in the main section and gets hung up - see attached picture. I have rebooted, tried different browsers, but nothing works. But no one else in my company is having the problem apparently. Suggestions?

Import and Overwrite existing Data only 75 out of 580 records updated
I have been trying to use the import/overwrite to add data to my existing potentials/opportunities module and all my data is clean and exact and when I import it only updates 75 records when it should update ALL records. I do not get any errors or anything and all compulsory fields are in my import file and data in the fields. The is no logical reason why only 75 records are updated and not all records, can ZOHO support please help, thanks.
Auto Field look up + change default module id

I don’t like the default unique number for (quote, Sales order, invoice e.g. PurchaseOrders_1258670912347) when export it. How do I change this or link it to an new auto field. 2. I have created an auto field in (sales order, invoice, purchase, quote). How I do move this forward between each module without having to copy paste each time. Each account would have at least one contact, phone, email, SIC code, description, etc. Does anyone know if the "20,000" figure I mention in my subject pertains to the import I would like to do? Adding users with the free version
I'm trying to add my 2 other users to my free version of Zoho CRM. I don't want them to be Administrators, but the "Add User" form doesn't make the Profile field editable. I read somewhere in the FAQs that the free accounts included two profile types: Admins and Managers. Is there a way I can make my new users Managers? Thanks!
