Changing Default Meeting Length
When you create an Event, End Date Time defaults to 30 minutes after the Start Date Time. Is there a way of changing that default?
How to organize folders of reports?
In my organization we use the very tool reports the CRM system, but something that causes us headache is the fact of not being able to organize the folders in alphabetical order or reorder their names according to our use. Something planned for that? We consider a simple thing to deploy the system.

Text field with multiple entries
When setting up the accounts and contacts section we added some custom fields to enter al the needed information. An option I really need is to have multiple entries in one field. Like: "Machine name/type" where we can enter any number of machines that the customer has by clicking a "+" sign. I've seen it in other CRM systenms. Or used software, where we can enter any kind of software the customer uses. One textfield to enter everything is not enough. I tried to use Zoho Creator as a workaround,

HAVING DIFFICULTY WITH CUSTOMISATION OF SEARCH LISTS
I am using the search layout within the customisation area to set the displayed field lists I am expecting to see in the CRM areas. You have a choice of up to six for each area. The problem is that when I go to the area I only see 3 columns of information (3 of the fields I have selected during the customisation) rather than all 6. Is this a bug or am I misunderstanding what the search layout customisation is doing. If so how do I add more columns of data on the CRM page displays. eg move
Any workaround for massupdating emails in importing contacs?
How can i update several emails (over 100) in an import to contacts? the overwrite option just creates a new contact when not recognising the email associated with the excisting contact: how can i work around this? Picking one and one will not work as the updated emails are quite random, and often in great numbers in our excel contact sheets (we do newsletter listings)- how can we get around this?

Hi, I have created a custom function in zoho crm , which executes when we create or edit account details , it update account related products in account related contacts,potential. But there is problem we want that whenever we add products in account related products, it automatically get added in account related contacts and whenever products are deleted from list it get deleted . so what rules we should implement here to update record by account related products.
Is it possible to email someone the potential information generated using the print function?
Right now, if I want to email someone all the potential information, like it is generated in the print view of the potential tab, I need to print it to a PDF and mail the attachment. Is there a way to skip this and email the info directly from Zoho CRM?
Logging and viewing customer information while on the phone
Please help me find a way to effectively using Zoho while talking to a customer on the phone When a customer calls me (dont have pbx system) I want to open this contacts name in Zoho, see what activities there were with him or one of his collegues and what the status of these activities is. I also want to read comments about his company (account). In the meantime I want to be able to log important things he tells me in the phonecall, so I need a big text screen. I think this is a very common situation
How do I "assign" or place a contact into multiple search lists (or categories)?
We're a small insurance agency that formerly used ACT! as our CRM. In ACT we could "assign" or place each contact into multiple "groups/categorie/lists" ... that is, 1 contact could have Aetna health insurance, Delta for dental, and GLIC for some life insurance. I would then "place" this contact into 3 separate "groups/lists/categories," which would enable me to pull up a list of, say, all my contact who have Aetna, or who have GLIC, etc. I'm unable to see how to do that easily in Zoho. Help?
Events Calendar - malfunction
I keep trying to sign into the events calendar (30 day, one week etc at top of page), but fails. Have even cleared cookies, history etc, still not working. Very frustrating, as cannot update / source my business appointments. Can someone help please?
Proper Process using the CRM for Targeted Companies
Suggestions requested. Here's what I'm unclear on... We have a list of companies we're looking to approach on deals with our solutions. Currently we already have a list of local companies but we don't necessarily have contacts or leads at said companies. For example, ABC Company we plan to approach. Until we have a more concrete set of data such as name, phone, email of an individual, where do we store the data for the company? Is this still considered an "Account" even though we haven't even engaged?
Creating Leads with no company
I only deal with the public so don't need to capture the company field but I can't see a way of capturing leads without adding a company value. Is there a way to delete the company field or alternatively pre-polulate it with my own company name?

What does "Existing Business" mean in Potential Type
I'm a new user and trying to figure out what "Type" means within Potentials. I'm assuming by default a potential is new business - even if tied to an account it's still new business for that account since it's a potential. Under what circumstances are people using "exisiting business" as the type for a potential? Just want to make sure I'm starting off by using this as intended. Thanks!

Workflow upon edit, not consistant
Hi, I have set up our Potentials module, an email template and a workflow which emails the potential owner if a checkbox "Email Copy" is checked. I have the workflow set to Create or Edit. Creating a Potential, this works perfectly. But if I edit, I don't receive another email. What seems to be happening is the system only realizes a change has been made if I edit the "Email Copy" field. It appears to be working as if I were using the "Field Update" option for workflows. Create a recently modified contact view?
I'd like to create a view showing recently modified contacts based on the criteria that a call or task has been modified or added. This should be similar to the recently modified contacts view, but have the fields showing for "description" from the call or task completed. I attempted to create this using "modified time" as the critera, but there's no "most recent modified" parameter. There is a default recently modified contacts view in zoho and I'm guessing the criteria should be similar to this,

Zoho Activity to Outlook 2007
1. Suggestion: The system really needs a button at the event that will open and create a new outlook calendar event. 2. Problem: Other users are creating Activities and inviting me to them. I get the e-mail notification. However, it does not put that Activity on my Zoho Calendar and does not make it available when I Sync Calendar using the Outlook plug-in. New Lead Creation and Tasks
I would like to find an easy way to create a lead and then have all the follow up tasks automatically created for that lead. Example, I create a lead and the system will create a task list for the lead for 1 week phone call, 2 week email, 3 week phone call, 4 week email, ....etc. Is this possible? If not can I create all the follow up tasks in one lead and then maybe clone the lead? Any help would appreciated.

Lead search not returning known record
None of the leads imported earlier this morning are being "found when searched for" I have checked search settings, spelling and checked multiple records. If I click the lead tab and sort descending by last activity the records are listed in CRM, they are just not appearing in search results.

Email Templates Not Coming Up When Individually Emailing
There seems to be a glitch with sending individual mail. This has been going on for about a week. When individually sending mail and choosing a template, quite often Zoho doesn't catch that I've chosen a template. I click it; the message body remains blank. I must go back into the template drop-down field and select it again. It doesn't do this all the time, but it's often enough where it appears there is a glitch or a bug. Any thoughts?

When I first login to zoho, the starting page shows the blue login name as "jimmyewilson." My problem is that Jimmy is a past coworker who has since left and now I'm in charge of the zoho account.
