Custom Fields for Contacts not showing in views
I have a number of custom fields under Contacts. This morning, none of the custom fields are showing. They were there yesterday. When I go to Setup>Customization>Contacts, I see all of my custom fields listed, however, when I go directly to a Contact record, the fields are missing, and when I run my report, although the custom fields are listed under the filter options, the fields all come up empty. Phone number for Contact from Account info
When I add a Contact for an Account, the address info is automatically filled in, but not the phone number. How do I get the phone number to fill in from the Account info?
Security Issue?
We are concerned that users can upload confidential documents to Zoho CRM then use the send mail function in 'Quick Actions' to effectively bypass any internal security controls we have in our network to track the sending of sensitive documents. Is there a way we can resolve this? At present, as far as we can see, users can delete email history from Zoho and as such we would never know an email has been sent. Any thoughts/solutions? Thanks
Sorting and pagination not working correctly
When I go to look at my contacts and click on the Last Name column to sort, the page re-queries. It does not sort the names that are already on the page. If I go to the next page of contact and click on sort, it re-queries. So, I can't see the second page sorted. What I want is to set the default sorting to Last name and when I go to the next page, I get the next name from the last name based on the first page. How can I set the default sorting?

I need to move all of my Leads to Contacts. I tried exporting the CSV of my Leads and importing it to my Contacts, but I lose all my Tasks/Events, and Activities (specifically my Closed Activities). Help?
can\'t upload company logo
when I try to upload my company logo, it says "Invalid file format. The file format should be in .jpeg or .jpg or .png or .gif." I have tried uploading both a png and gif file, but both of them result in this error message. any ideas what is causing this? thanks, Nate Nate Aune
Search 'Stickiness"
I filtered records in Zoho CRM using the search feature. I can select the first record, but the result of the search are lost when I move to the next record. I am also unable to return to the search/filtered results without reinputting the search criteria.
How best to handle networking contacts
I go to networking events and meet some useful contacts. Some I can refer to, some refer me, some will never be a customer but a great referrer. How best to handle and track these types on contacts? I don't think they are like leads that turn into accounts.

IMAP Sent Email CRM Synch
I am set up as a IMAP BETA tester and before I get into it, I can not find any information on how the sent emails are handled. If I send an email through MS Outlook or my IMAP supported phone to a contact email via Zoho IMAP will that synch into the contacts email sent history in the Zoho CRM? If not currentlty, is there plans to support the sending of emails from clients other than Zoho via IMAP that will allow the sent email to synch/attach to the contacts email history within Zoho CRM? Zoho, I noticed today that there is a button "Export to Google Tasks" on the create tasks page now. I tried to do so, but it was not working. Is there a featuer that will be enabled soon? If so, I would say Zoho really is ahead of the competition by recognizing that a TASK is simply that, A TASK/TODO item. I hate that other CRMS would crate "Activities or Events" for simple tasks on my list, such as "re order printer paper" or "check on tracking number for order" Please update as to how I can
Account or Contact?
Hi I deal with a lot of private customers. I'm assuming they need to be set up as 'Contacts'. Two problems. When I try and quote a contact, I need to specify an account name and since this is not a business, there is no associated accounts. Should I rather set the individual customers up as accounts? Allow users to share data
Hello, I've been looking through the tutorials and the forum and I can't find a solution to my problem. I am using a trial professional account with 3 users. CEO and 2 sales representatives. The sales representatives have the same role in the hierarchy. I want them to be allowed to share contacts or accounts if they want to, but I don't want to use the default option to share all contacts and accounts. Only specific ones which they will work on together.

Increase the number of listed items in related list
Currently there is a limit of 10 Contacts showing in the related items list in Accounts. This makes it very easy to miss a particular hidden contact, for instance the 11th contact, as the employee does not know or forgets to click on the arrow to show the next page of items. What we need is to have this feature customizable, so that one can show 10, 12-15, or whatever number of contacts required. I imagine this to be useful for any of the records, not simply accounts and contacts. Can this be implemented

Alerts coming late
Good Morning, I set an event for one of my contacts. Within the event I requested a 'pop up' notification to alert me of the event an hour before it was to start. The 'pop up' did not occur. I had Zoho CRM open on my desk top at the time. Today, six days later and at the wrong time, the pop up occurred. It would be nice to be able to trust that the pop up notifications will take place when they are needed. What can we do to fix this? Thanks, -S
"Find" Formula Field Confusion
Hello, I am having trouble finding out what the "1" means in the "Find" formula field. Returns the nth occurrence of the text string.
