How do I get my leads notes to migrate into the potential notes?
I am new to Zoho and I am now using it for our company CRM. As we work with the leads and converter into potentials we want the attachments and notes to follow. How do we do this?
How to convert Lead to Account
Hi Is anyone know that, How to convert Leads to Account. I only can convert Leads to Contact in my account. Cunrently, I use 3 users free account. Should i need to upgrade to professional account ? Please advice. Thanks

Mail Merge format Issue
Hi, I've built 2 mail merge templates, one in Word that I then imported directly into Zoho writer and one that I imported from Word into Zoho writer via a text editor (so that any Word format controls are removed). But when I send an email using either template the first 6 lines of text are missing. If I put 6 blank lines at the start of both templates in Zoho writer then all the text appears in the email, but there are 6 blank lines at the top and it looks ridiculous. What's the problem? Custom Lookup field to display specific account type
Is ther a way to setup a custom Look-up Field to display only specific Account types for selection. Example is: One of my Account Types is "Funding Source". I only need to select from that list.

I'm trying to import a CSV file of leads. The CVS contains 1449 rows (including header). I select the file and click the Next button. The page thinks and then the following Popup appears: File should not contain more than 1500 rows. I am using the Free Version of CRM, however the limit has not been reached. Not sure why I can't import?
Is it possible to exclude select contacts from the Contact Name search on a Potential?
I am interested in filtering selected Contact records out of the Contact Name search in Potentials (likewise, limiting the search results in the Account Name field). We will have whole categories of Contacts who would never be the contact for a pursuit. I'd like to exclude them from the contact name search if possible. I can think of reasons to not do this but it is something we want to try. Is there a way to accomplish this in Zoho CRM?

Open ToDo within a Project
Is there any way that I can change the configuration of what is shown within the Open ToDo columns within a Project? Right now I am seeing columns that I don't want and not seeing what I do want.

Hello, When i change a lead in an account the notes I already made in the lead will be connected to the contact and not to the account. Is it possible to change this? I prefer to have the notes, that i made bij the lead, in the account and not in the contact. Thanks in advance. Tinus Smit

I made 25 calls yesterday on the same topic. I have my leads/contacts list entered into Zoho. Why can't I just click on the 25 people and log the activities? Why do I have to take 30 minutes out of my day to log each call individually?

Total File Size for Templates Attachments
Dear Zoho Team I'm trying to update the attachments in some email templates I have in Zoho CRM. The current attachments in the templates are of about 5 Mb size. However, on trying to change the attachments with files of the same size, I'm getting the error "Total file(s) size should not exceed 3 Mb". How can that be??!! Why aren't all fields showing up in dropdown box when I am changing the mapping for lead to account?
Some info is lost when I am converting Leads to Accounts or that info just goes into Contacts but I need it to stay in Accounts. I tried to change the mapping of those certain fields but in the dropdown boxes, the corresponding fields are not even listed as an option for me to chose from. For example: trying to map "Skype ID" field in Leads to "Skype ID" field that I created in Accounts. I go to the dropdown box and there is nothing there for me to chose from. invoice template doesn't transfert the date from Contacts

Is there a way to change some of the pre-programmed fields?
In "Leads" there is a mandatory "Last Name" field which is not editable and the "First Name" field is also not editable. I need to have just one text field that I would call "Name(s) of Contact Person(s)" because we have multiple people that we work with from each of our Leads and this would be much easier than putting their names in Contacts. I would also need this field to map to the same field in Accounts so when our Leads are converted, the full list of names would transfer over all at once.

Adding Contact Role in "Contact and account" field
Hi, can anybody pls help I am aware that there is no "contact roles" in the contacts page. Contact role is existed only if I convert the Lead to "Account, Contact & Potential". However, from marketing's point of view, I need their role in order to determine their job nature and what kind of mkt materials they may interested. I had try to use the department as a filter, however it's open columns. Is there anything I can filter contacts into different role or department?

Hi all, I have been scratching my head over it for a while now. I want to bring the last note that has been updated for a lead or a potential into the list view as one of the columns. I believe that should be possible as notes is a data field associated with a record. Can't seem to get around it though. Please guide me.
Update contact from excel & import boolean value?
Hello! I am playing with Zoho to get to know it and I came to a problem. I imported the contacts from Excel and then I've changed some data inside, trying to update it in Zoho too, but nothing really happens - no update. What am I doing wrong? What I've done: I have let's say 10 columns in Excel and I've changed birthday date (added a corrected year) of a contact in a column 2. I've clicked on "import contacts", chose name, surname and e-mail of a person and also "column 2" (b-day column) to import.
'Closing This Month' view - want to show Open only for sales focus
I use the default 'Closing This Month' view on my Home tab, but it shows Potentials with any status whereas I just want to focus on open ones that are yet to close. I have tried to create my own version of this view, but cannot figure out how to set a Date criteria that is always 'this month'. Can this be done, please? Thanks!
Contact History - Deciding Today for CRM solution

Importing contacts with address fields
Hello, When I import Contacts from Outlook to Zoho CRM, it automatically creates Accounts, which is nice. But it does not carry over the address from the Contact to the Account. I do understand that different Contacts may have different addresses, but I would expect there to be an option to handle this. Return URL
Hi I have a form on a page that I want to populate my Zoho DB after the user submits it. I am using the Form to Lead template that requires a return URL. However, I cannot provide a return URL as the form is a PHP form that does not actually reload the page after submission. It is a form that should just submit the form, clear the form contents without reloading the page. I hope this makes sense. Selectively Sync Calendar with Google
Hello everyone, Is there a possibility to sync google calendar with ZCRM's calendar ? I use (like many I guess) Gcal for many reminders and personal stuff. It would polute my professional calendar if it were all synced to Zoho. Maybe there is a feature to sync a specific calendar from Google (one would create a 'zCal' in Google with a specific color). Or there could be a tag (#Z) acting like a filter while syncing ?
Can I set up another field in the leads section
Hi, Im wondering if it is at all possible to set up another field in the leads section. I want to have another sub category under the Industry field. i.e Construction for the industry and then another field for what they do such as Concreting. One other thing, if this is possible, does it create any issues with reporting?
Cannot upload documents
One of my employees cannot upload any documents. It allows him to browse to the document and select it, but then nothing happens. The box where the file name should appear is blank.
