Default taks/events e-mail notification to ON by default
Being notified by e-mail when a task gets assigned sounds like a mandatory requirement. In our case it is essential, as we don't have all users opening Zoho everyday just to check if they have tasks assigned. I know that there is a hidden checkbox to enable it, but well, it's hidden and many times the user forgets that s/he needs to go there to activate it. Personal e-mail notifications setup
I think that Zoho has been choosing the wrong way to enable e-mail notification. It goes agains the way it is done in other systems. The Zoho way: Creator decides that something (like a task) must send notifications. Assignee receives the notification, even if he's not the creator. In few words, the person to be bothered by the notification has no way to say that he doesn't want to be bothered. I am trying to link my contacts to my accounts. My previous assistant set up everything in contacts. I have since moved all my clients to the accounts tab but I am unable to email out of that tab I have to go look them up in the contacts list. I know leads you can email from the quick action - how do I move a contact to an account so that I can send email from that area and not have to go back and forth? Help. Thank you.
Help, Layout problem
Is there a way to change the layout on the account page. I think its pretty mismanaged at is. I'd like to have the acct info, the contact info, and the recent actives, is it possible to change the placement of this stuff, or is set in stone. Inventory Templates = useless
The 'Inventory Template' feature at the moment is completely useless. It's so tempromental that even selecting the text and copying it somewhere else (for a backup, ironically) will somehow edit the underlying HTML code and tell the template not to call in specific fields (It's only really calling in 'Product Details' that the issue) This needs to be solved asap.
Limited access for general use?
Hello everybody, Is it possible for members of our company to gain limited access? For example, if someone who does not have a Zoho CRM license needs to find a telephone number, is it possible for them to gain limited access to the CRM? Hi I edited Cases and named it Interactions which I later publish on my website. I also created rules and email alerts for the web form. Any time the form is filled on my web page, It does not appear on my interaction but applicants gets the auto response e-mail. Unable to export "First Name" column in Contacts
I'm unable to get the First Name column to be included when I export to Excel. I've created a view using "First Name", "Last Name", "Address", "City" and can view this data within Contacts but when I try to export to Excel I'm only getting the following columns: Contact ID, Last Name, Address and City. If I add any other columns like Account or Email, these do get exported. Unable to get the First Name. This appears to have happened only recently, within the last week or so, I create an Excel

I'd like to run a report that will give me my campaigns and a list of companies that have been targeted. I've been able to create a Campaign report and have contacts be the related module...but there is no option to include the company/account name of the contact? And no way to have the account be the related module instead of contact? What am I missing?

Notes at company level do not always appear in a task
We add notes with information to each company. If we create tasks and print the tast, the notes from the company appear on the task vieuw and on the task print. But this is not always the case, and we can't find the reason why the sometimes do not appear. Best regards, Serge

Connect contact (or potential) to lead post-conversion

Capturing outbound mail

Process flow for our sales team. 1) Create quote and obtain signature on quote 2) When ready to turn over to production, "Convert to Invoice" Problem I have set up auto number for Quotes and Invoices. I set both to start at "600100". I have "Mapped Custom Fields" so that the fields match in both Quotes and Invoices. All Quotes are not turned into invoices. So, I may have 100 Quotes generated and only 10 are converted to "Invoices". I get to 600200 for Quotes and I am at 600110 for Invoices.
