What are the correct field mappings from Outlook to Zoho CRM
I recently began using the Outlook sync tool to get around the 1,000 recored per import restriction. While this works nicely, I am having trouble mapping fields from Outlook into the correct Zoho fields. 1) Can we change the field mapping from Outlook to Zoho? How? 2) Will Zoho correctly identify custom field created in Outlook? 3) Will Outlook identify custom fields created in Zoho.
Note Layout
It will be nice to be able to add extra fields to the note form. Also it will be of great benefit to include hyperlinks in the note body. Pease advise if this can be done. Thanks Nibal Elsaadi

It is not clear to me from your website whether or not Free users can use Outlook Edition just by paying the $3 per month, or do they first have to upgrade to a paid ($12/month) account, and then add on the $3/month Outlook edition. Next and Previous When Browsing a View Detail

Cannot start Postgres as a service
I just installed Zoho CRM 5 on my laptop. I followed the installation process to the point I receive the error message: "Cannot start Postgres as a service". I click ok, it finishes the installation and attempts to start the server 4-5 times and errors out again. Any suggestions to troubleshoot?

Mail list overflow?
Sending mails from Zoho CRM to a contact I have seen that the mails was not copied into the maillist under the contact. The contact has 54 mails in the list. The after the sended mails was listed again???? What happens? aquatex

Hi, We are currently using SFDC group edition and im currently checking out Zoho CRM. Still i have not received the back up files from SFDC. But through the report generation, i just tried importing the accounts. There was one problem i faced, my company's sales team has had many shuffling offlate and some of the members of the sales team have quit. Mass email additional Criteria

I am very disappointed that the staff of Zoho don't respond to many of the posting.I myself wouldl ike to push this program to the limit and be a multi user paid subscriber. So many questions and requests with no feedback from the Zoho Staff. I understand this is an open forum where we can get answers from other users, but is there a moderator on board. adding new user who already has a Zoho CRM ID
A guy in my company signed up for Zoho previously. He poked around, then never used it again. Now I want to add him to our Zoho CRM account. Unfortunately, it gives me a message that says: "Zoho CRM ID already exists. Please use a different Zoho CRM ID." That's because he's already got an "account" under his work emails address. The fellow I'd like to join tells me that, on his end, the system won't allow him to change the Zoho CRM ID for the account. Obviously I don't want to use a personal email
The same Email template for both Leads and Contacts
Hi, how could I set the same Email template for both Leads and Contacts? I need to do that without duplicate the template because I need to change it very often and it's not fast to change two templates every time. Thank you, Giordano.
Editing Email Templates
In the mass email contacts option, there is no link for editing the email template. It would be great if we had the "Templates" option on the left hand navigation pane. Currently this can be found only once you click on "New Template" Mahesh Pillai
Regarding custom field changes.
If I create a new field in leads that I map the whole way through. Is there any way that if I change the data in that field say in contacts that it will update that same field in potentials and accounts? As of right now if I change that custom field in contacts, that field is not updating in the other tabs. Ross Cohen

Sorting Errors
When in the campaign field. If you in contacts and you sort by any field (ie phone number or name) it will only sort the first ten records. When you select "Next" to see the next 10 records, it is no longer sorted by the selection. Big Bummer! Let me know when fixed. thanks Hilary Badoian

Hi, I am a new user of Zoho CRM and are trying out the program. My question is about new sales orders. Could someone tell me if it is possible to enter the product name by typing it in instead of having to lock up the product. Send Mail button and templates
Hi, It would be extremely useful if the �send mail�functionality was available for all views, not just Orders, Quotes, Invoices. Also the fields available on the templates are limited. It should be possible to include ANY linked field on the template. Thanks Andrew

Is the CRM group working on adding activity series. Tis will be a very good addition to the program
always getting errors on synching with Outlook/ CRM
Every time I synch I get errors on parsing. What are the errors and how am I to track them down? Please provide more verbose error reporting. We are finding inconsistencies in our Outlook db and our CRM db and we believe the problems are stemming from the synch process. dgdlux

Deluge Script for CRM
It seems as though I'd be able to do what I'm looking to do with a deluge script but can I use it in Zoho CRM, here's what I'd like to do: A lead needs to be tagged as having an interest in one or multiple regions. Based on those regions, the lead will have interest in one or multiple specific locations within each of those regions.
