Zoho CRM & Zoho Books integration - barely useful?
we are looking to switch to zoho crm & zoho books but the integration seems really awkward and barely useful. I can only sync Contacts OR Accounts OR Accounts and their contacts? I have some contacts without an account and some that need to be associated with an account and I'm not sure why we can't have both sync? Also I think we should be able to sync other modules - at least the deals if nothing else. I should be able to associate expenses and invoices with a specific deal. (EDIT TO ADD: Ok

How do I get Address info to copy from Account into Contact?
I'm trying to figure out how to get all of my contacts to have the address info from the Account that they are related to populated into the their address fields. This seems to happen when creating a new contact thru the Account, but not any other way. Help!
How to turn off Outlook and open email hyperlinks in Zoho email editor
In CRM, Contacts view, I have a hyperlinked field for the email of the contact. I would like to be able to click on that hyperlink, and open a new email in CRM (prompt for template). Right now, Outlook assumes control when I click email hyperlinks, so 10 demerits to MS for bad behavior. I don't want or need Microsoft Outlook and will never regret the day I left. Anyway.... I want to go Zoho CRM - Centric and need to get this working in my browser (Chrome) ASAP. Thanks Everyone! Greg
Google Calendar sync
I just set up Zoho CRM with Google calendar sync. It seems to only pick up brand new appointments I create moving forward. Is there anyway to have it sync over the existing appointments I have in my Zoho CRM calendar?
Can I Convert Events to Tasks?
Hello, One of our sales reps mistakenly entered several dozen tasks as events and I would like to convert those events to tasks so our data is consistent. Is this possible or do we have to manually re-enter them as new tasks? Thanks, Chris
Task Model - Need Option for Pick List Field
Currently the SUBJECT field in the Task module is SINGLE LINE only but has pick list option available. There should be an option to change the field to PICK LIST to prevent staff from avoiding the pick list values. This will enable cleaner reporting for activities.
Report showing Leads/Accounts with no future events
Hi I have been able to create a report for Events Planned for the Future. The filters in Leads and Contacts allow me to look at records with no open Activity - is there a way to do this as a report? Ive tried a number of ways, I just can't seem to get it to work. On that point, it would be great to convert filtered views straight into a report Thanks
Multiple Emails per Lead and Contact Please (for Gmail integration)
Would be very helpful to have multiple emails per lead and contact built into the system. Our situation is that we are using the Gmail integration to be able to see emails within the Zoho record between our sales reps and leads and contacts. Change to Terminology
Hi We have noticed today that the terminology for "Events" is now being changed to "Meetings" Is this going to affect any reports that filter by Event Type " Events " because that will be super frustrating if it does. Or is the wording just being replaced in the background for all areas of the CRM? I can see it has already changed in the mobile app version Are there any other changes? Thanks

Matching Leads to Product when importing
I'm trying to set up my insurance agency, and have added the products that we typically sell to Zoho. I have a flat file of 2000+ customers that I want to import, but cannot figure out how to match them to the products I have set up. Product information is in the flat file as insurance company+product name. I have added a Multi-Select Lookup to my leads, which works fine when adding new customers, but the Multi-Select Lookup field does not appear when I try to map the field during the lead import.
Hide empty field in a contact record

Condense all account notes in a report?
Hi Folks, I am running reports for accounts and when there is multiple notes, the report creates a new line for each note under the same account name. If I have XYZ account with 7 notes, then I get 7 rows named XYZ. I'd really just like to condense all the notes under the same account into a single row. Is there a way to do so? I know I can just have a single note under account and keep adding to it, but that defeats the purpose of new notes with date stamps. Thank you, Derek

Hi guys, I'm getting started here and have set up a web capture form on my site. It's identically to the one I used to have except that it's a zoho form now. Instantly I started getting spam leads rolling in - all kinds of crap- porn, blackjack, you name it. Took less than 24 hours to have dozens. I *never* got spam in my forms before. What kind of junky form code is this? How can I code this in a way to stop the spam? Please don't ask me to install a captcha, that's a ridiculous nuisance

Hi we seem to have lost the pop ups in ring central when we use a mac with chrome. I have uninstalled etc made sure no block pop ups have changed. Working great on safari but that browser brings other troubles with the fact that top day it will not open mail merge docs. I just want a stable browser that zoho likes. Please

Vendors vs Accounts fields
Hi, I try to have consistent information structure between Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Vendors. However I see some odd things which aren't helping. May be you could help me with Vendors and Accounts. So, there is an email field in Vendors, but not in Accounts? There is Company Site (I don't know exactly what is it for), but no "Vendors Company Site". I'm not talking about websites... In the business card area, not the same fields are available for Vendors and Accounts. We can select for vendors:
CRM estimates not showing option for retainer fee
I have enabled Zoho financial in the CRM so I am able to make estimates directly from my Accounts under the heading Zoho Financial. zoho crm with module finance integrated But when I create an estimate I need it with the option to add the retainer fee which is present in Zoho Books estimates. Zoho books option create a retainer invoice to this estimate automatically Where is the option to create an estimate within CRM and add the retainer fee option without having to transfer back to Zoho Books?

Why does my Chart not export in reporting?
When I am using the reporting tools, my charts do not export. I'd much rather display this information to my sales teams in an easy to read format and prefer the charts over the listed information. Also, can I edit the dollar amounts listed to show commas? It's much easier to understand what is being viewed if someone can quickly see $1,453,298 over 1453298. Thanks, Bobbie
Other users cannot see info of other users in Dashboards
Hello, I created some dashboards about our leads in the leads dashboards. Statistics are grouped per lead owner. When my colleague checks the dashboards he sees the charts but only with his own statistics, not of the other users. How is it possible that everybody sees all the statistics in the dashboards? Lead creation from existing contacts or accounts
I know that it's not possible to convert a contact back to a lead. What about creating a new lead using existing contact or account details? We would like to create a system in Zoho CRM for following up past clients to see if they require our services again. Currently I am manually creating a new lead for each client, which is time consuming. Is it possible, with a workaround or script or something, to automate creation of new leads from existing contact details?
Importing Options Gone?
Previously when importing data into Leads I was able to select the Lead Source and Lead Owner, however these options have now disappeared? Why have these been removed? It's now very inconvenient when importing files that I have to go into every file and add these columns in.
Issues with zoho.email-view.com
None of our links in email templates CRM are functional anymore - getting this error: Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at zoho.email-view.com. Whenever a new link is created in Template editor, the link is replace by a link to zoho.email-view.com. In preview the links work, so we know that our link is created correctly This is a huge problem, as all of our templates are now no longer functional! Thanks for looking into this asap. _Charles_
Early alert for duplicate email
When creating a contact record, it seems as though you will not get alerted to a duplicate email address until you click the "Save" button. However, this can be very frustrating when you are entering many contacts at once since you may go through all the data entry, just to be told that its a duplicate. Is there a way to alert a User that the email is a duplicate before they get to the end of the data entry process?
Problem with account activation
Hi, I have a problem with activation of an account of my CRM. When the user receives the mail for the activation and open the link to the moment of enter the password and click on "Create account", throw this message: "We can not process your request now. Try again later or contact support@zohoaccounts.com" I've already tried removing and re-creating the account, but it's still throwing me the same message. Can you help me, please?
