Zoho CRM v2.0 and 1.0 API access
We are currently in the process of upgrading to Zoho CRM 2.0 API and the code has passed development and is onto our staging area. Our staging and production use the same CRM account so my question is this. If I generate new v2 API credentials will that nullify the v1 API credentials or can you have both of them active at the same time? We are worried that if I activate the v2 credentials that it'll stop production from working. I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance.

Sales Stage Checklists - Blueprint vs New Module vs Layouts
BACKGROUND: We have 12 sales stages that each deal moves through. At each stage there are tasks to be completed and checklist items to be ticked off (checklist items don't have due dates). Prevent creation of new account from within deal edit page
Currently, when a user creates a new deal, and lookup the related Account on the create page, if the Account does not exist, it automatically creates a new account. However, this bypasses all the validation rules of creating a new Account. I would like to prevent this "functionality" so that the deal can only be linked to an already existing Account. If the Account does not exist, the user would have to manually first create the Account and then add the deal against it. Please advise how I can

Inactive Contacts and Global Search
Hello, we are currently investigating, how to deal with people leaving companies etc. I was quite surprised, taht ZoHo has no option to "deactivate" contacts, so they remain in the system and historical data, but they do not appear in contacts, global search etc, despite looking for inactive contacts.... So my idea was to implement an option set (active & inactive). Filtering in the Views is at "Contact" Module is quite easy, but filtering in Accounts, Global search etc. semms not to be possible...

So making calls from zoho CRM app for years now have gone over to ringcentral and tried their iOS app. Looking in CRM app you can choose iPhone, Skype etc for making calls is there an option for the Ringcentral app.

Finding Contacts Without an Open Activity
I called zoho support and they weren't able to help me. I have a new employee who is forgetting to schedule follow up calls on his contacts. I'm looking for a way to find his contacts that don't have any open activity. Can anyone please suggest a simply way to do this by either using search or running a report? Thanks

Zoho CRM -Deals Date stamp
I have a tab in Zoho CRM called Deals when we create a new 'Deal' the date and time shows up, but as a part of the Created by Field, so I do have the date and time, I can bring the Created by Field into a report but I cannot seem to run any reports where I can filter by date? Am I missing something?
Can tagging people via @mention send some sort of notificaiton?
I'd like it so that if I use the @mention functionality in a Note, it will send some sort of notification (in Zoho CRM, email, slack, whatever) to that person. Feels like this should work right out of the box, but I can't seem to get it to do what I want. Suggestions?
Many-to-Many Module Association issue

Limit of Ten Links per Module
Could the limitation of ten links per module be removed? We use links to code various URL's, mostly the creation of scheduling links for Appointlet but also some other things like to format and email message with CRM data. We use the Professional version which works great for us so we don't have access to custom buttons.

Subforms> Set a Required field for only the subform when adding a row
Have run into an issue recently. I use subforms however when a user filled in a subform row they did not fill out some fields. When I tried to make these fields "Required" it reflected when trying to save a new record instead of when focused just on the subform row. For example In a module called Courses, we have a subform called Students. Each course then has a list of students. Hi, For some of our deals, there is more than 1 contact involved. I have added the contact and associated the contact to the deal through the contact roles function. However, I am finding that the only emails that appear on the deal are those between our employee and the contact who is filled in on the "Contact Name" field. Product Group Linked to Multiple Vendors

Validation error
I have created a pick list that allows salesmen to choose a relevant reason that we might lose a Deal. When a Deal is moved to the "Closed Lost" stage the validation rule mandates this field is completed. This field presents itself in the pop-up that is cued when the stage is updated to Closed. For some reason when an option is selected from the pick list the save option is not enabled. We can work around this by updating the pick list before the stage but I am pretty sure something is broken here.
