Adding a new group
Sorry guys, Must be having a dumb day... I've added a Group before but for some reason cannot find the 'Add New Group' button anywhere. I've tried the Help files etc... Can someone post a great big screenshot of where it is located? Thanks Brad.
Zoho Writer in VO
I have been using Zoho writer in VO and recently started playing with the tag and folder options. But when I add a tag or folder, it doesn't add it immediately, I have to go to another section like email or calendar, then back to writer in order to have the folder or tags show up, basically reloading the entire program. Shouldn't the folders and tags appear as soon as I create them? akbarasa
Can't Install Service Pack 3 For Zoho VO 3.2
Hello, I am unable to install Service Pack 3 for Zoho VO 3.2. The complete filename of the service pack is Zoho_Virtual_Office_3_2_0_SP_3_0.ppm. My computer seems not to recognize the extension .ppm. I've looked on the internet for information on the .ppm extension, without success. Can someone please advise? Thank you.

Emailing Documents
I cannot find a way to attach a document to email from the email editor. I can go to the documents folder, and email a document. but if I start an email, then click attach document, I cannot get to the documents section. When I email a document, it is save into the documents folder.

Problems installing Zoho Virtual Office
Hello, I downloaded the Virtual Office install from your website and tried to install it on a server. I am installing onto an XP Pro box. The installer got through to the section where it unpacks jar files and hung there. I let it sit for about 20 minutes before I shut down the installer. I thought I would uninstall and then start fresh. However, when I try to uninstall (whether from the Add/Remove control panel or the Zoho start menu folder) it doesn't seem to work. CAN NOT SEND EMAILS FROM ZOHO VO
I posted about this problem earlier with no response, let's try again: If I try to reply to an email or send and email, I get this error message: Sending failed; Reason:550 5.7.1 <recipient's email address>... Relaying denied. IP name lookup failed [64.41.199.18] All the outgoing server information entered into VO preferences is correct. Please advise.
Notes disappearing
Hello, We've deployed VO here at work and are using it for all internal calendar, email and notes. Its working fine, except we're noticing that notes are disappearing after a month or so. Its not all the notes, but Im assuming its ones that haven't been accessed in a month... Is there any way to keep notes indefinitely or at least change the period of time until they disappear?
Can I Get The Software for Writer, Sheet, & Creator?

Port 8080 Non-Responsive
Does anyone have problems with zoho vo just shutting down and no longer responding to port 8080? Because the new installation (and even the system we used) is constantly going down. The server and everything is up, but Zoho is dead and must be restarted using the sh command in UNIX. We were actually able to install Zoho VO using the zip file on Linux. Hi, i would like to install the Zoho VO on a virtual debian server. Unfortunately the installation breaks very early with the error message: "could not create the virtual machine". What can i do? Installed Zoho VO on Bluehost Successfully, Problems!
Ok, I have Zoho VO installed a Bluehost, and it's working great. The only problem is that it is causing problems with the web page that I maintain on the same host on a different port. The problem is that any php web content will not work. Has anyone else experienced this problems?
working with more than 10 Tasks
Hi, I am very impressed with Zoho overall. However, when using it for real life, I have some issues with the tasks (which is the most important feature for us): - I am unable to filter the tasks. At least, I would like to filter the tasks by due date. (dont show tasks that are not overdue.) So I can easily give a tasks a new due date and it vanishes from the list and will not show up until that date is reached. Right now I am trying to do that with start date and changing the view to 'week' or 'day',
How can I edit the text of group task categories?

cant add users to vo
chaps this morning ive been doing a bit of housekeeping on VO (deleting users etc). When it cam to add a couple of new users i fill out the form on the 'add user' page and click submit and all i get is 'error on page'. This in turn shows.... line:137 Char: 1 Error: object doesnt support this property or method Code: 0 url: https://xxxxxx/vo/jsp/adminSignup.jsp Ive re-booted the VO server but this didnt help. Zoho Breaks My Other PHP Web Pages On Bluehost
Finally got Zoho working great on Bluehost. But now when zoho is running none of my php web pages work. Has anyone else had this this problem. The error I get in the error_log is "Premature end of script headers" Note, when I stop the zoho service, the other web pages are working correctly. I'm also able to serve non php web pages just fine. I'm running php 4.4.4

Email Accounts in display sidebar
Hi, I have 20+ email accounts that I want to track and I created all of them under my account. However, I do not see all of them.. the last few does not show up or my screen is not large enough to show them. is there anyway we can just list all of them and expand the one email that is active? Currently, there appears no way to either reorder the email accounts or group them or see all of them. Tx for your help. Rao

Service starts, but VO won't load!
Hi folks. So I've got a W2K sp4 server. I've had Zoho running fine, but due to a problem had to reinstall. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times now, but it won't load. The service is started, I've checked the port, there are no errors, there is no firewall. Everything was going swimmingly, but now I get nothing! Any ideas?
Userproblem / DB error?
after having 6 accounts in the free edition i could add more users (up to 10) - but i can't see the last 4 users in the admin panel (just 6 users existing!?). if i log in with one of the 4 users there is the navigation completely missing. something wrong with my DB? where can i modify the DB manually? running on ubuntu linux many thanks

I would really like to see the abilty to make a new event repeat bi-weekly instead of just weekly in the calander. Most of my appt. are bi-weekly and this works fine in Windows Live Mail but not in ZOHO VO. I would love to see this added so I can use VO instead. Thanks, Joseph

Our company I buy Zoho VO, when installing in a server redhat EL3, appears the message: Verifying Virtual Java Machine ............................................... ........................................................................................... Problems with the Webfolder function in ZOHO VO
I have serious problems with the Webfolder function in WinXP. I can create the folder shortcut in Windows Explorer and connect without any issues but the Web browser view and the Windows Explorer view are not in sync. For example, I have five directories in the shared VO folder but I see only three in Windows Explorer and two of them have the wrong name, they are called "New Folder" and "New Folder (2)" instead of their actual names. I am using the latest version, 3.2 build 3230.
Changing an AD User's username
We recently have been doing a lot of reorganization in our AD structure which included having to change a few user names of some end users for their accounts in AD. Anyhow, how can I change the name of the account in ZOHO VO so that is reflects the new users name in AD?

Organizing Documents
Is there an easy way organize documents that are uploaded to a group site? For example, I want the documents to be listed in alphabetical order by name. Currently, the documents are listed in the order that they were uploaded.

Hallo, I installed Virtual Office on Suse 10.2,. A really easy job because of a good installer. I ve some questions: a) how can I configure for example Port 8060 for http access and 9060 for https access? b) I m using a cyrus imap server. My account has a lot of subfolders but the Mailinterface shows me only the first level of of folders. For example inbox-folder01 but notinbox-folder01-subfolder01 c) What s about ldap? I am a hurdy-gurdy user of ZOHOVO now, and I still tried to install a new version of ZOHOVO on mandriva 2007 with IMAP with mailroot and not to maildir and that still does not function. I thought that this problem was regulated. But I note that nothing changed. With which type of server IMAP ZOHOVO are 100% compatible (imap, imap-courrier, cyrus,etc...), or under which distribution must one install it so that it functions with IMAP. Limiting Individual Users Rights
Is there a way to restrict the some of the rights of individual users in the On-Premise version of VO? For example, I want the user to have complete access to the group tools except the ability to change and upload documents and the ability to post announcements. I still want them to be able to download and view the documents and announcements, just not alter them in any way.
