login from different locations
I've been trying ZVO from work now i'm home. I've downloaded the software now it wants me to configure the root administrator so I did using the same details as work and nothing I entered at work shows. As if I'm a different person. The main reason I want to use it is so I can keep everything centraised from multiple locations. This might be a lame question but... How do I login as one user from multiple locations? Do I have to install the software everywhere I want to access my a/c? Help. Brad.

Missing options for group calendar?
Is there some way to get all of the features of creating a personal calendar item when creating a group item? I have noticed the following options are not available: Category Create an associated task All day event Start & end dates can't be changed (no pop-up calendars) Repeat Mark as important Also, I find it confusing that when you click the "New Event" link above the calendar it is not a group event that is added. Is that something that could be added? Thanks! Ryan
Uable to start VO
Something went wrong after installing the servicepack. I tried to start VO and I see the starting window, but it takes ages to load the Group Discussions. I stopped it after 48 hours!!!! I deinstalled the SP, same result. I think something is wrong with the database, but I don't know how to solve this, any sollutions? Dick

Hi, I've tried for hours to setup Virtual Office but I am totally lost now :-) Can someone please help me through it? Virtual Office for Dummies so to speak? I downloaded Zoho Virtual Office and after installation my firewall caught several programs trying to access internet. So I uninstalled the program. Are those viruses? Otherwise good product? Thank you
Change the localhost to another CPU
Hi, I did change my CPU and I would like to use the VO in the new one. How can I save all the data stored in the old CPU to the new CPU?. The old computer won't be in use anymore. Regards.

Hi, I have a few questions. - Is there a way to add Bars/Icons to the left side toolbar? composing emails
We have noticed that if you use the very top compose link the one in the title bar,, next to add event it always starts a new email using the first email account that was set up on the system. It ignores which one is set to default. This should be addressed and fixed thanks
Insert Anchor on this page
When I go to insert hypertext, I want to choose 'Anchor in this page' but there is no anchor. Regular html doesn't work which is really frustrating so how do I do it? Brad.

Installation problem, unpacking .jars
At the end of installation process I'm geting message about unpacking jar problem. in log folder, i found unpacklog.txt with this messege :The system cannot find the path specified.
Installation problems...
I really love the interface and functionality of this system. Unfortunately, I've been unable to get this to install. I've reviewed the system requirements and installation read me. Basically, I uploaded the .bin file to our standard Red Hat Linux server, which adheres to the system requirements. The .bin file was uploaded to a subfolder within the www folder (assuming it didn't matter either way). I then chmod Zoho_Virtual_Office.bin and proceeded to connect via SSH to run ./Zoho_Virtual_Office.bin
E-mail alerts not working!
Hi! One the key features of VO for my business is e-mail alerts for tasks and events but I just do not manage to get it working. I've working on a solution for hours but don't see where the problem is. I set up SMTP server correctly with client authentication... it just does not work. Even when I set up a new user, he does not get the welcome/ogin e-mail to logon to VO. Any tips?

Hello developers and users! Tried 3.2. Overall impression: cool! But the things I would see improved/corrected: 1. Russian translation have many mistypings and errors. Some terms are translated unusual way and became non-understandable for nonprepared user. 2. Here was too many times told about wiki.vo, and I'll not repeat. :) 3. lost my mail
I am having a serious problem! I set up zoho to integrate with my gmail account, and I spent several days loading my nearly 5000 messages into zoho. For some reason, however, I was having problems with it after a while, and it wouldn't enable my gmail account. I just deleted it and put it in again, not realizing that all of the email within zoho would go with it. well, it fixed my inital problem, but now I have a bigger one. Impossible to view group contact list
I created a group in vo and added some contacts in the contact list, it worked well but now I can't see the contacts in groups, I always have the message Loading.... and nothing appears, I didn't changed anything in my config or database structure, it's even impossible to add a contact, after cliking on save button I have a blank page.

How to Disable automatic Web Client start
Is there a method to disable the feature of automatically starting a web client session when starting the VO service? If I need to restart the server, or otherwise restart the VO service, the web client always opens up when the service is ready. For an administrator, this is not needed. VO Bug with other email receiving clients?
Hello. I'm testing the VO email client. When sending emails to users who use the OpenWebmail client they are seeing the messages I send and showing they have been already read. No other sending email client has this issue with OpenWebmail as I have been using it for years myself before trying this out. Has anyone else seen this or know of a fix for this? Thanks!

VO Won't Start
Hi, I have installed VO on Suse Luinux 9.3 and made all changes explained in these forums to use and existing installation of both apache and mysql. When I run Vo using run.sh after getting the trial message about 30 seconds passes and the command prompt just re-appears. I have attched the serverout log file. Please can someone point me in the right direction. Cheers Andy
Active Directory problem
When I go through the steps to list the users on the Active Directory page, I get no errors, but the system states 0 users. What am I missing? thanks Greg
