groups disappeared
all our groups have disappeared from vo, the only thing i can think of is we assigned a new root admin and deleted the old one. would this have deleted the groups create by the previous admin?
Unsolicited mail is not being identified by zoho
Hi, We have installed zoho ver 3 and applied the latest patches etc.. We have configured the mail to be marked as spam, but whenever we log in we still find all the spam messages sitting in the Unread folder, so we mark each message as spam, expecting the system to learn, but so far zoho has not identified any messages as being spam. Are we doing something wrong? is there a way to debug the process? I made sure that Settings> Admin > System Settings > Enable Antispam funcilnality is turned on and
Internal Email, External Servers
Okay, so first off...great job! This is a fantastic piece of code here, has many features that I haven't seen elsewhere. And the client interfact is very slick too...keep up the good work! Character Limits
Okay, so I started inputting company info into ZoHo and ran across a few problems: 1. Passwords can't be longer than 10 characters? I don't really mind this in most situations, but for the default passwords we give each new user it's "first initial + last name + 1" and on a few occassions that equals more than ten. We can get around this, but it's still a slight issue. 2. Somewhat related to the first problem...our email address are "first initial + last name @ companyname.com". The company name

Hi, After posting an article, I wanted to change the title. I edited the title of the discussion topic but the new title is not being updated on the topic list (when you click discussion), but is correctly displayed whenever we click on the edit topic button, or when you click on the article itself. thanks
Language and charset problems
Hi all, I've installed SP2 and also the language pack. I'm still experiencing problems with charset, and special characters are not displayed in the attached picture. I've tried all encoding options in IE6 menu, and nothing changes. I'd like to say that the translation is very very poor, and is not acceptable for a professional use. I even prefer to use English, instead of that (french) translation. Is there a way to create our own ? I would be happy then to share my work, if needed. I'm anyway happy
Probelm Calendar view
hi we had some problems with the calendar, unfortunately the Team calendar is unusable. too many limitations ... so it's impossible to work with, TEAM calendar function is really bad. So we tried to use the private calendar as a workaround but without success. dates were not correctly displayed, see attached sceenshot, and we aslo can't see shared entrys in the calendar. logging people when they log on
hi there cracking piece of software. how about the ability for the root admin to have an option to see a log list when people login and out. For me that would be really helpful as VO is on trial at my company and poeple keep asking me how much is it getting used and who is logging on and when is the most popular time etc. thanks
Assigning tasks to group members
Hi, We are currently trying out your excellent program. Hope you can shed shome light on a couple of issues. 1. only the root admin can assign tasks to group members, is this intentional ? 2. group members can view the group desktop but when they click on their group name in the left hand pane, they get an error saying "not available, please try later" This dosent happen to the root admin ? Problems with Encoding new Mails
Hi, we downloaded the actual version of VO. But we have Problems with Encoding outgoing mails. Because the german language has several special characters we must change manually in "create new mail" from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1. What mast we do to make this automatically?
Unable to share docs to other group members.
When attempting to share images,docs, with other members of a particular group all docs,etc are displayed, however when other users attempt to open these files from their accounts they receive an error message. From my account, I am able to see and also open shared files to the group. regards and thanks AL
How do you stop all email contacts being put in contact list
It appears every email received automatically places the senders contact details into my contact list. Although, there is an option to add contact however, it appears that this happens automatically. It even appears to add contacts that have already been added. Is there an option to switch on/off this functionality? regards AL

Zoho Server exits
I'm evaluating Zoho Virtual office. I downloaded & installed without a problem. The environment is Interl Processor (2.0 Ghz), Windows XP. The server starts up & Zoho is perfectly usable, but... 1. Similar to other postings I cannot see old messages on my IMAP server, but nor can I see any new ones. If I change to POP3 I can see the inbox (only the inbox, of course). If I use IMAP, the folder structure is visible, but not even new unread messages can be seen. Also, where do the folders zoho created

Calender Events
There is no way to delete an event . An event was postred incorrectly, and there is no option to delete it. Also as an administrator, should not it have permissions to delete posting that users might create and post as a mistate? I don't thin there is a delete for tasks. Thank you mjabin
Download Image Files From Documents
Hi, Ive uploaded image files to the documents module and am not able to download them. I've tested this on 3 machines running XP with IE 6 and all do the same thing. When the link is clicked for a .jpg or .gif, the status bar of the browser says "Downloading picture.." but nothing happens and I'm not given the option to save the picture. If I rename the extension to say .jpo, it will download. I've tried in Firefox and it works fine, and also on Win 2K machine so it may be specific to IE 6 on XP.
Email Timeout
Is there a way to adjust mail server timeouts? I'm trying to access mail from an sbcglobal account and it appears to require quite a bit of time to establish a connection (I've also noticed this from other mail clients). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Scott Morse
MySQL will not start, JBoss (possibly) will not start
You made an absolutely great program. I had no problem installing it on Windows server, but on SuSe 9.3 (which is the most important for me) it won't start. First, I got the message that MySQL cannot start. I tried with shutting down the existing MySQL server, but with no success. Then I tried to attach it to the existing server by following your instructions, given here. Program displayed the expiration warning, waited for some time and exited without any message. What could be done to fix this?

Sharing Documents with Contacts
I am unsure what happens when you share a document with a contact. I can see that it accepts any email address, but then what? Does the contact get an email with it attached? Why not just email it then? Can the contact view it somehow via a URL?
Unable to view mails via IMAP
Hi, Am am testing my system here with our IMAP server. Everything is configured correctly as ZOHO shows a green light on the email account. It will send out emails, and if I look on my account using Thunderbird, I can see that the mail is in my inbox. However Zoho shows all my email folders, but no emails within them!! If I configure zoho for POP3, everything works fine by the way.
calender month-view does not work
Hi All, I have just installed VO and I like to use the calender in month-view (year-view would suit me even better), but it does not work: it gives an error processing your request. The week-view does work ok. I have DL-ed and installed the servicepack, but then it stopped during the loading of the server. Because uninstalling the SP did not help I did a new install on a different PC (it just so happened) and there I had the same problem with the mont-view. What can I do? TIA for any answers (BTW:

I am just reading through the documentation of your product and the development what you have done really impress me. I would like to know if you plan tighter integration with Active Directory (users/groups), with your other products (we are thinking on buying Servicedesk plus) and multilanguage functionality. If yes, what is the timetable for that? The reason is that we would like to implement an Intranet solution with the additional functionalities listed above.
