Can you send a campaign even if the limit has been reached according to the email sending policy?
Yes. You can apply an exception by clicking 'Apply Exemption' when sending the campaign.
Why are some contacts excluded by the email sending policy?
Contacts may be excluded if the account’s configured policy has reached the maximum email limit for those contacts.
Can I include a questionnaire in the email content?
You can use the Poll component available in the template editor. But it supports only a single question or rating per email.
The replies are being delivered to the mailbox. Can the replies be tracked in the campaign?
Yes. If reply tracking is enabled for the campaign, the replies will also be tracked in the campaign report.
Can I have a different reply-to address?
Yes. A different reply-to address can be set by choosing from the list of added sender email addresses.
Is a topic mandatory for all campaigns?
Yes. A topic is mandatory for every campaign.
How can I avoid the default footer?
If no unsubscribe link is configured in the content, a default footer will be added automatically. To avoid this, include an unsubscribe link by adding the appropriate merge tag.
Why can’t I select the attachment element?
The attachment element is available only in the Professional and Pay-as-you-go subscriptions of Zoho Campaigns.
Why shouldn't you forward campaigns without using Tell-A-Friend merge tag?
Forwarding a campaign directly through an email client can alter its design, since email clients apply their own specifications instead of those from the Template Editor. To avoid display and response issues, it’s recommended to use the Tell-A-Friend ...
How do you fetch the campaign URL?
Navigate to Campaigns > Email Campaigns, and open the specific campaign, then copy the URL from the browser’s address bar.
Can you save the content created in a campaign?
Yes. In the HTML code editor, you can use the 'Save Template' option, and in the template editor, you’ll find the 'Save to Library' option.
Can you save the created element for future use?
Yes. You can use the bookmark option to save the element for future use.
Does video play directly within the email campaign content?
No. Since most email clients don’t support video playback within emails, videos embedded in campaign content won’t play inside the email. Instead, they will open and play in a new window.
Can you add buttons using the HTML editor?
The HTML editor does not have a built-in option to create buttons. However, you can add them manually by inserting HTML code.
Which editors allow you to create left-aligned emails?
The HTML editor and the Plain Text editor support left-aligned emails.
Can you add attachments to your emails?
Yes. You can add both internal and external attachments, but this feature is available only in the Professional plan of Zoho Campaigns.
How does Zoho Campaigns allow users to share event details?
Zoho Campaigns allows you to add an iCalendar (.ics) file as an 'ICS component' in your email campaigns, enabling you to share event details with your recipients.
Does Zoho Campaigns have RTL layout in the template editor?
Yes, RTL layout can be enabled in the Design view.
How many files can be added under external file attachment and what is the file size limit?
You can add up to 5 files. Each file can be up to 2 MB, so you can add up to 10 MB.
Does Zoho Campaigns track opens in plain text campaigns?
No, we do not track opens in plain text campaigns.
Why aren’t Merge tags working in test emails?
Currently, merge tags aren’t functional in test emails. You’ll need to send an actual campaign to a test mailing list and check they appear.
How do you personalize the first name in the content?
You can use the Merge tags inside the template editor. Once you've decided where to place the name, click Merge tags > Contact Merge tag > First name.
How do you fix the error "Duplicate email address found" while adding the sender address?
The sender address that you're trying to add is verified as a sender in a different account. We do not allow an email address to be verified as a sender in more than one account.
“Error: Fix your sender domain errors!” shows in the sender details. How do you fix this?
Authenticate your sender domain to resolve the error.
Can we customize sender addresses?

Why are you unable to choose the sender address, or the sender address is grayed out?
If the confirmation email sent hasn't been verified yet, the sender's address will appear grayed out.
Why is the total number of recipients showing as zero?
If the recipient count is shown as zero, double-check that the subscription type is Marketing and the topic is associated with the contacts.
Can you send the same campaign to different sets of recipients?
Yes, you can clone the campaign and choose the different set of recipients.
Can you choose both Segments and Mailing list while adding the recipients?
No, currently, you can choose either a mailing list or a segment.
How do you exclude the contacts who've already received the campaign?
You can make use of the "Exclude contacts" option to exclude the contacts from previously sent campaigns or existing mailing lists.
Where can you view the exclude criteria?
To view exclude criteria, click Edit recipients > View exclude contacts > Criteria at the right top.
How can you make images auto-download for recipients?
Image auto-download depends on the recipient’s email client settings. Email marketing platforms do not provide an option to force images to auto-download.
Can you configure actions based on the recipient responses?
You can track the replies within Zoho Campaigns. However, follow-up emails based directly on those responses are not currently supported.
How many batches does Zoho Campaigns support, and what are the available intervals?
You can schedule your campaigns in up to 25 batches, with intervals ranging from 15 minutes to 360 minutes between each batch.
Can you send campaigns in batches?
Yes, you can send the campaigns in batches. Click the "Send later" option and then select "Send in batches" to send the campaign in batches.
What is the difference between the recipient's time zone and the recipient's optimal time zone campaign?
The recipient's time zone is determined from imported data, such as their country. The optimal time zone, on the other hand, is based on the recipient’s past engagement history, such as when they usually open emails.
Does Zoho Campaigns provide a built-in image editor tool?
Yes, you can make customizations such as changing the size, adding borders, text, and buttons. However, we don’t provide a tool to compress images.
Can you import images from external sources?
Yes, you can import images from Google Photos, Clickr, and Giphy.
Can you include carousel images in the template editor?
Currently, we do not have an option to include carousel images, but it is in the planning stages.
How do you export campaign templates?
Once the email content is created, click More > Download HTML. You can also export the campaign report as a PDF.
