How does “Tell-a-Friend” activity appear in reports?
If the Tell-a-Friend merge tag is used and the email is forwarded via that link, the forward will be tracked and counted.
Can you view bounce reasons in your reports?
Yes. Under Bounces, Zoho lists the email address, bounce type (hard/soft), and specific reason (e.g., domain not found, mailbox full).
What is the difference between campaign-based and contact-based reports?
Campaign-based reports show the performance of a specific campaign across all recipients. Contact-based reports show individual engagement across all campaigns—like a timeline for a particular subscriber.
Are forwarded emails included in open or click counts?
No. Forwarded emails aren’t directly tracked. However, if you’ve used the Tell-a-Friend merge tag and the recipient forwards the email using that link, it will be tracked.
What is a good open rate or clickthrough rate (CTR)?
It depends on the industry, but typically: ● Open Rate: 20%–25% ● CTR: 2%–5% Higher rates indicate effective subject lines and content; lower ones suggest deliverability or relevance issues.
Can you track how your campaign performed on mobile vs. desktop?
Yes. Under Device Reports, you’ll see a breakdown by device type (mobile, desktop, tablet); OS (Android, iOS, Windows); and browser/client used.
Where can you find list-based reports in Zoho Campaigns?
Navigate to Reports → List-Based Reports. From there, you can select any mailing list to view its performance data.
Is it possible to resend a campaign to only those who didn’t open it?
Yes. In the campaign report, click on the Report summary → Send follow-up, and there you’ll be able to select the recipients.
Can you view the devices and apps used to view your emails?
Yes. Under the Device and Client Reports, Zoho shows OS (iOS, Android), email clients (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail), and web vs. mobile view breakdown.
What are the limitations in report data for plain-text emails?
Open tracking will not work for plain-text emails because they lack the 1x1 pixel tracking image. Only delivery and bounce stats will be recorded.
What are social campaign reports?
For campaigns shared on social media, the reports include the number of views, clicks on social links, shares, and platform-wise engagement (Facebook, X, LinkedIn).
Are reports based on device and browsers available?
Yes. Reports show the breakdown of opens and clicks by device type (desktop, mobile, tablet), operating systems (Windows, iOS, Android), and browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
Can you view geolocation based reports in Zoho Campaigns?
Yes. In the report summary, it shows the geographic distribution (by country/region) of recipients who opened your campaign, based on IP address.
What is a heat map report?
The heat map visually shows the links in your email which were clicked the most, and helps you identify the parts of your content that performed the best.
Can you see the links that were clicked in an email?
Yes. Under the Clicks section in the report, you'll see a list of all URLs and the number of clicks per link, including unique clicks.
What does the “Activity timeline” of a contact show?
It provides a detailed history of how a specific contact interacted with your campaigns (e.g., opens, clicks, bounces).
Where can you find reports for a sent campaign?
Navigate to Campaigns → Sent and click on the specific campaign. Now, go to the Reports tab to view detailed metrics.
What can I view in the Reports module of Zoho Campaigns?
The Reports module provides detailed insights and analytics on your email campaigns, helping you track recipient engagement, delivery status, opens, clicks, bounces, and more.
Is it possible to confirm if the reply tracking is enabled or not for sent campaigns?
Yes. You can open the sent campaigns option and click on the report summary to check whether the reply tracking is enabled or not for your sent campaigns.
What does occurrence mean in sent campaign reports?
It means the number of times a particular link was used in an email content.
Why is the Google Analytics (GA) reports section not available under the Zoho Campaigns Reports module?
Due to API restrictions and GA version upgrade, all of the GA reports can be tracked only in the GA application.
Can we connect Google Analytics (GA) in Zoho Campaigns for tracking purposes?
Yes. GA can be connected to Zoho Campaigns for tracking purposes.
Does a SMS campaign have a follow-up feature like email campaigns?
No. We don't currently have an option to send the follow-up campaigns to SMS campaigns.
Can you check the credits used and cost spent on data in the SMS campaigns report?
Yes. Navigate to Reports → SMS Campaigns. Open the specific campaign and click on Credits to check the total utilization.
Does Zoho Campaigns provide email placements in the Reports section?
No. We won't display the inbox placements information in the sent campaigns report.
Will the test email be recorded as recipient activity in the sent campaigns report?
No. The test email is for running the view of the outcome that you’ve created. The test email will not be considered as the recipient's activity.
Can the sent campaign be reordered?
Yes. Open Reports, and at the top-right corner, click the drop to reorder according to Ascending, Descending, Recently sent.
What does the recipient comment mean?
Posting comments on an email campaign allows the recipients to provide feedback, which can convert to a discussion in the long term. Zoho Campaigns provides a text box where users can submit comments for your email campaigns. You’ll be able to ...
Does Zoho Campaigns have the option to share reports?
Yes. Open the reports and click on Share reports by adding the access code for generating a link.
Can you organize custom field columns in reports?
Yes. You may open the reports and click on the Equalizer icon for organizing the columns.
Can you sort the recipient activity from each activity tab in reports?
Yes. Go to Reports → Sent campaigns → Open specific campaigns → Recipient activity, and click on the Sort by option to select the criteria as "Highest opens, least opens, First opened, Most recently opened.”
Will Campaigns track the results if the survey is not created in Zoho Survey or Survey Monkey?
No. Zoho Campaigns will not track the other source survey results. However, the action will be recorded as a link click.
What options are available in survey results?
Check the "Completed survey, partial survey, and yet to be started" results in the Report section.
How do you view survey reports?
Navigate to Reports → Sent campaigns → Open specific campaigns. Click on Link clicks and select Survey results.
How do you view poll reports?
Navigate to Reports → Sent campaigns → Open specific campaigns. Click on Link clicks and select Poll results.
What is the purpose of reports?
All of the sent email campaign and SMS campaign activity can be checked and tracked under the Reports section.
What are the filters available in the Reports module?
The available modules are Campaign owner, Campaign status, Campaign type, and Sent date.
Are spam complaints tracked in campaign reports?
Yes. If a recipient marks your email as spam, and the ISP shares that data, Zoho will show it under the Spam Complaints section.
What are the available criteria in campaign-based reports?
The available criteria are opened campaigns, clicked campaigns, and clicked URLs.
Can fields be mass updated from the sent campaign reports according to the activity?
Yes. You may open the reports and select the activity according to your preference by clicking the Mass update icon.
