AI in Zoho Workplace: A Sneak Peek into What’s Coming!

We’re super excited to share something we’ve been working on and we want you to be part of it!

You may have seen our announcement blog post introducing a major evolution in how AI works within Zoho Workplace.

Zia, our built-in AI, is growing beyond simple assistants to become a trusted workflow partner that helps you write smarter, organize faster, and collaborate better, all while keeping your data private and secure.

As part of this rollout, we’re opening early access to a few of the new Zia-powered features in Zoho Workplace. These features are now available for users who would like to explore and share feedback before the wider release.

What  we are working on right now

Here’s a look at the new Zia-powered features currently in development. We’re actively fine-tuning them, and they’ll be available for you to try soon!

Writing Assistant (Zoho Mail and Calendar)

Zia helps you draft replies, summarize long email threads, or even create event details, so you spend less time typing and more time doing.

Ask Zia

Your conversational assistant across Workplace. Chat with Zia to summarize an email, extract action items, or find files across Mail, Calendar, and WorkDrive all in one conversation.

Contact enrichment (Zoho Mail)

When a new contact lands in your inbox, Zia enriches it with publicly available information like company details, role, and social links to help you write more contextually relevant emails.

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

Admins can connect external AI models like GPT, Gemini, Claude, or Cohere to power Zia features. Users can then leverage these models to draft emails, summarize threads, create calendar events, and generate content all within Zoho Workplace.

A glimpse of what’s  ahead

You may have noticed the new Zia Agents mentioned on our AI in Zoho Workplace page These workflow partners will automate multi-step tasks like inbox cleanup, lead qualification, threat mitigation, and more.

These agents are still in the early stages of development and currently available as previews only.We'll be releasing them for testing in stages over the coming months, and we’ll notify you once they’re ready for early access. Think of this as a sneak peek at the future of AI-powered work!
