My sheets have gotten SLOW. Need advice.

I've been using Zoho sheets for a couple of months--  my objective is to create a few databases that I can sort by date or name, and also insert hyperlinks of images. I've created three such sheets, and as I progress, I've found that using them becomes slower and slower.

Perhaps my plan is too ambitious for each sheet? My main sheet is currently about 220 lines, 30 columns. As it's grown, it's becoming more and more sluggish to use.

Should I instead create individual sheets for smaller date ranges, thus reducing the size of each? Sort of defeats the purpose of a sortable sheet.

Should I look into Zoho Creator? If I paid for a different type of user-account, would I get the relatively fast online database type that I've described?

Please advise me, Zoho. My needs are pretty simple-- a sortable database where I can insert hyperlinks, that could theoretically contain thousands of lines, 20-30 columns.

My trial and error method has become frustrating.
