Collecting accurate data is crucial for making informed decisions. Zoho Forms offers two efficient ways to validate user data and ensure that you collect entries exclusively from valid users.
Double Opt-in:
Double Opt-in is a privacy feature that ensures users explicitly consent to receive communication from you before their data is collected.
With Double Opt-in, users must confirm their opt-in email address before their entries are listed in the All Entries section of the form. Only for the entries that are opted-in, actions like trigger email notifications, form rules, integrations, and approvals will be triggered ensuring maximum data accuracy. Opted-out and pending entries are listed separately for easy management.
Check out this
help link for more information on Double Opt-in.
OTP verification:
Another efficient way to validate user data is with
OTP verification. This option allows you to perform validation before users can even access the form. Users are prompted to enter their phone number/email address, and an SMS/ Email is triggered, providing them with an OTP. Only when the OTP is entered and verified can the user access and submit the form. This ensures that only verified users can access and submit a form, maximizing data accuracy.
Whether you choose to use Double Opt-in to filter entries or OTP to validate users before they access the form, you can trust that your data collection process is optimized for reliability.
Don't compromise on data accuracy. Use Zoho Forms' privacy features to validate user entries and make informed decisions.
