Embedding Tabbed Forms/Views
Is there any way to embed an entire application ie the tabbed view which includes all tabs and included forms and views? That would be amazing! david.miller
Need a floating toolbar for creating forms
Very difficult to create large forms if I have to keep scrolling up to get the form components I need. Also, when I go to add a new component, I cannot "carry" the component to where I need it on the form if it involves any scrolling. I have to create the component in the form somewhere first, and then move it to where I want it. jherlihy
"Add Notes" formatting does not come through
When I use "Add Notes" function to help break up the form with formatted text, the actual text formatting does not carry through. (BWI, I am using the latest version of Firefox). jherlihy

Revert Database

URLs not correctly displayed as look up field
URL fields can display in a simple view. But when I create another view which has a field as a look up of a URL field, it gets displayed incorrectly as: <a href="...">Text</a>, instead of a link. wagnerwash
"remaining" success message???

Search option using forms

on the Zohu Creator page, after I apply the application and access from web, on the view page, if I use chinese charactor to name my VIEW, such as "测试", the default page was display correct, but after I click "list view" or anthing in that drop list, the name tab which display "测试" will became unreadable. you can access it on "http://creator.zoho.com/pizzahotline/copy-of-/view/2/" and test it . 8720900
"Zoho Creator" records in real time in a "Zoho Sheet"
Zoho Creator and Zoho Show are very innovative tools, thanks a lot. It seems to me that an integration between these 2 could be great: Could it be possible that the records created with Zoho Creator be available in real time in a Zoho Sheet. Furthermore if the criterias and filters of Zoho Creator (which are pretty similar as Microsoft Excel filters) could be present in Zoho Sheet, Zoho Creator+Sheet will be perfect. Linking Creator Tables to Sheet
Dear Support I have been trying for an number of days to output a creator table to sheet. I have tried various options to see what is happening. My original thought it was due to tables being encrypted, but this did not seem to be the issue. I found that https://..... does not work, one has to make it a http://...... link for the data to load data can be loaded into sheet. However, I still was not able to load all the sheets I needed. Hello, I am in need of some help with the last bit of my job application system. I have two forms. New Position and Position Application. There are 7 companies that use the job application system. One user does HR for all 7 companies and she posts all jobs, sorts all resumes/CVs, etc. It all filters to the right forms on the right webpages - easy enough on that end of things. When a user goes to a company's website and looks at the available positions, they see only the jobs available for that company.

hi, I set up my zohomail account about a week ago and I can't receive any emails. I have tried sending emails to this account and the havent been received. Even though I have activated the account, it still shows as no activated in zoho accounts. Pls. help emmanuel.attah
Change embed width or application width?
How can I change the size of the iframe when I embed the code on a site? I have tried adjusting the width value which will change the size of what you but the form itself ends up getting cut off. How can I make the form fit inside the frame width I need? I'm not worried about height but on the width I need 468 pixels in width and I think the default is at 500px. Any help would be greatly appreciated! If I can't change the embed width is there any way to change the application width itself?
Bulk edit bug - radio/required/unique fields?
I have a small database (a dozen records). When I try to bulk edit a couple records, I get this error: 1 . Enter a value for Position . 2 . Enter a value for Character . Error occurred on executing deluge script. The field I was trying to change was a Radio button; the two fields mentioned in the error are simple Single Line text fields. Hi, I am using the URL field to collect data. Inspite of providing the "link name" instruction to website name, Not many bother to enter the website name Hence a looong string of URL is seen Or there is a series of "click here" (I have set default link-name= click here) Is there any way i can dissect the url so that From the url http:\\www.abc.com\2003\Jan05.. .. i just get the www.abc.com (ie whatever falls inbetwee http:\\ ...... and .... \ )
Sort inputdata by date
I have made a database to sort and store old news articles in Zoho Creator and I must say that the application is fantastic. My problem is that Zoho Creator doesn't sort the posts by date although I have used the Set Sorting function. I�ve chosen so that the view should be sorted by date but it doesn�t seem to work. I can't figure out how the posts are sorted because they aren't sorted alphabetically or the latest entry first either. I appreciate all help! Regards, Carl
Replace one character with another while entering in forms
Hi, I have an application where I collect Title & author Names. ( both single line text field) Sometimes, the title contains an apostrophe...say.. " Sam's sham", ( its ok where i collect this info) Then Later when i use this field as a picklist in another form, The field having the apostrophe comes as blank in the view I belive this could be due to the fact that apostrophe is read as single quote and the text gets commented out. So, would it be possible to replace the apostrophe with an underscore
How to sort results using Creator API?
Hi there, I'm trying to obtain sorted results by using the API.. Is this possible? I'm building an app in Classic ASP - and sorting an xml feed requires creating & using xsl styles sheets etc - which i'm not keen on doing) so short q is there an order by or sort by functionality when pulling our results?
Script to check values in list or checkbox field
How do you loop through the vales in a listbox or checkbox and take some action if a user's input matches? For example, a user inputs his Age = 41, then have an On User Input check all vales in a list field Agedata (11, 14, 21, 40, 41). Do i need to use string functions to step through each value in the Agedata listbox (or checkbox)?

Access to Forms/View
I have a social networking website and have embedded a Form/View (without requiring sign in) for members to post invites for specific events. Right now I have it set up for them to only Add information, but I would like to have them be able to do more. Is it possible to have an embedded Form/View on my website which still does not require sign in by members but which can allow them to add, edit, and delete their own postings and invites only? thanks
Sorting imported data in lookup criteria
I have a form called CLIENTS and a form called VENDORS. For a field (Photographer) in CLIENTS, I used the lookup feature to import a list (Company) in Vendors. The items in company are labeled with "type" like "photo" What script do I put in criteria box to restrict the data to only show the companies with "type" field being "photo" I've tried using <picklist fieldname> ( type = picklist values = <form name>[criteria].<fieldname to be imported from form name> ) but got an error message.
Can multiple people share the same Zoho account?
I'm looking to create a video database for my office. I have very little knowledge of Zoho and it's policies, but here's how I would like it to work: 1) I would be the 'Admin', so I would have control to add and edit the database. 2) My collegues would be 'Users', so they would have read-only access. I have ~10 collegues who would be accessing this database at any given time (unlikely more than 2 at same time). Dear Support I have a client code that follow the pattern below 0302Z001 The first 4 numbers indicate the region and province of the client (0302). This is followed by a letter (Z) for the name and then a 3 digit number 001. What I could like to do is make a formula field that only takes the first 4 digits (0302). Can this be done by either trimming the 4 didgits or by retaining all digits before the letter (Z). Regards Peter moanazoho
Totalling values in a linked form
I've created a small Job database with two forms; 1=Client form, 2=Job form. The Job form has a lookup field linking the Job to the Client. The Job form also has a field for the value £ of the Job. Crreator and iPhone
I tried one of the sample apps (sales contact app) and it seems to work on my iPhone except when I view leads and then click edit, I am not able to edit the data. If I could get this working it would be a great help for me.
Using the Calendar

Is there any way that I can make the entire form available to my shared users but only a portion available to the public in my embedded form? At the moment I can only see a way to make a portion available to both my shared users and the public and only myself have access to the entire form. If this is the only way, is there a work around using the client API or would I have to make the entire form public to use the client API? Cheers fnordlator

Relational Tables
I do like this system. It's very to access through the internet. One question I do have: Can you relate tables? Is there a Relational Database Management System? I am concerned about people typing in the wrong names under each column and I need to relate the two names together not with just the name, but possible numbers with each other.
