For some reason when I log into the Zoho Assist desktop application I get a message that says "please enter proxy credentials". I have no clue what this means, so I click "cancel". The program seems to work after that, but I am unable to connect to clients. To fix it, I delete the program completely, go to Zoho.com and download the desktop plugin again. When you use Assist for Remote Support, does the session host giving support to a guest have priority mouse control on the guest's screen. I tried another application when the user was disabled and was using a headmouse and when he moved his head, he moved his mouse and it was impossible for me to take control of his screen as that particular remote desktop application gives priority to the mouse of the guest. ZOHO Assist Not Connecting
I am evaluating ZOHO Assist, and I've been unable to make connections with the test subjects. The first test was done in house, from another machine. Using the Desktop App, I started the Session, and entered the Session Key at http://join.zoho.com, after acknowledging the Java Runtime and the .exe down/run the Client end just sat at Connecting. No firewall warnings, with Windows Firewall (Default settings). The Second Test was done with a remote computer. Same results. I am apparently missing something,

Zoho Assist invites not going out
I'm new to Zoho Assist so perhaps I'm missing something. I'm thinking of switching over from Teamviewer, but so far have found the invite by email functionality of Zoho to be non-functional. Invites simply don't reach the customer. They can use the link I send and I assume they can also join using join.zoho.com by entering the session ID I give them. For me, the invitation feature is important in representing a trusted email from me to my clients. Can you let me know why this is not working.

I use my Google login. I sent the assist request to my son who is running Linux Mint 19.1. It asked him to download an app called connect, it downloaded (connect 64 bit) but no right click menu options showing up like the instructions say. When he clicks on connect it says it doesn't know what package to open it with. I just want to remotely help him on his laptop. I don't need him to be able to remote into anywhere. In fact I don't even need unattended, just to be able to remote in when he needs

Hello all, ever simnce today, I haven't been able to send any remote session e-mails from within Assist. I am able to initiate a session, but the clients never receive the e-mail. I had them check their Junk/Spam folders. I also tested sending one to my own private e-mail addres and nothing... Thank you in advance.
Failed to join session - Windows
Hi, We keep getting an error message saying "Failed to join remote session due to the following reason:" and then it doesn't give a reason (See attached screenshot.) We use folder redirection for our user files (documents, download, desktop etc.) which means a users download folder is stored on the network. It seems that running the ZA_Connect.exe file from a network location returns the attached error code. When we run the ZA_Connect.exe file from a local disk such as a usb stick it works fine.

I'm testing out the Zoho Assist free version for an ad-hoc service. One of my clients would like me to be able to assist her with her mobile device, but the free version says I need to upgrade in order to do that. Which version would I need in order to support iOS and Android devices? I never need unattended support.
Zoho Assist Shortcut Disappearing
After installing the Customer PlugIn it works and brings up the "join session" box but after a few days it stops working and brings up a shortcut is invalid message. This has happenned on several customers PC's.

Is there a way to clear the Remote Support sessions that are listed under the Sessions tab? I tried a few tests, could not connect, now they are just listed under Sessions with "Yet to join" under the Customer column.

iOS Assist Client Screen rotation...
I am evaluating Zoho Assist "Customer" for Remote Sessions on iPad. One of the issues we have right now is that Zoho Assist assumes a Portrait orientation when the Technician is viewing the Client screen. Is there a simple solution where the Technician can rotate the view as our mobile app runs in a Landscape orientation?
