Zoho CRM enhancements I would like to see
Hi Was recently trialling ZOHO to possibly use in my business. For the most part I was really impressed with the ease of use and features. My main concern is that unfortunately it was always going to feel like I was trying to use something that wasn't quite right for my organisation and that I was trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. The main areas which I would love to see developed would be: - Ability to rename default fields. Eg - I would have liked to rename "Shipping Address" to "Street

It would be great to have a small map automatically show up on accounts/contacts/leads record rather than have to click the "locate map" button and view another window. Is this possible to implement?

Account scorecard
I have an idea of what an 'ideal' account looks like to me. They have 3 specific technical certifications They submit 5 deals a quarter They increase their business with us by 10% quarter over quarter They have one demand generation activity per quarter etc... Is there a way to track these metrics in zoho, on one simple report or dashboard? Thank you! John
Account Tracks
With ConnectWise, you can assign a 'track' of certain numerous activities to be completed at different times. For example, for onboarding a new account. When the 'Onboarding Track' is applied to a specific account, a 'welcome call' will be assigned to be completed within 3 days, then a week later an activity to make an appointment with that same account will happen, and maybe a recurring quarterly call assigned also. Team, I am trying to create a custom look up field, but it only gives me options of modules to look up Eg: Sales, Potentials, Contacts etc., but I want the look up field to contain the active users in my CRM, something like a Lead Owner, Potential Owner sort of a thing, is there a workaround for this? Troubles uploading documents to email
Today I am trying to attach documents to emails and, although ZOHO shows the document is trying to upload, it never does. I have tried multiple emails with different docuements. I have also tried sending emails out of Zoho Mail instead of CRM and have the same trouble attaching documents. Is this a problem that ZOHO is experiencing? I have rebooted several times as well. If anyone can assist I would appreciate it.

I love Zohocrm but there is one feature I cannot find : I want to be able to search for somthing and immediately to have search suggestions populated in a box below the search box (Just like google search for example) How can I do this???
Custom date fields with Zoho CRM
Hi Everyone, I need a little help with a custom date field in the Leads section. I am trying to fill the value of this date field with the current date when the first event is logged for this lead. I have tried using the workflow to do this, but either I am blind or the custom field is not available in the workflow. If you have any solution as to how to get the first contact date in the Leads section, you are awesome. Any help would be greatly appreciated! ~ James C.

Full screen New Task Interface

How can you set it up so you can attach a document when inputting lead data
It appears I can attach a document after the lead is created, but not when you are creating the actual lead, I don't see a Upload field option in the customization section. I'm only using free version, is it a Pay feature? If so I'm sold. Sure I'm missing something, Thanks in advance! Dennis
How to get the currency field to display on my Accounts Module
I am unable to get the "Currency" field to display on my Accounts Module page. I know this could be very simple, but can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Multiple Date fields
Hi, I am aware there is currently no feature supporting selecting multiple dates in the one field. I want a way to replace our current handwritten system of bookings, which is a 5 column x 12 row grid of possible dates. Each column specifies a different product, but the large sum of rows is for ease of use. Other than making 60 possible dates fields, is there a way I can manage this, or a similar process. Let me know if this doesn't make any sense.
Tasks and Events default export to Google calendar
Is there a way to have every task and event default to google calendar export. I would specifically want it to do so when I run a macro to schedule multiple task over several weeks or months. I want the task to appear in GCal. Scott

We are making good use of the VENDOR tab to keep clients and suppliers separate. However, the vendor contacts end up in our client contacts again, so not sure what the use of vendors is in the first place. Anyway, we want to have a web-to-vendor form,,, should be easy as web-to-lead and web-to-contact are already there. Please add this function. Thank you !
Pulling a report showing the content of emails
Hi there! Is there any way for me to pull a report that will include the body contents of the emails associated with the Lead, Contact, or Potential? I need to be able to run a report that shows what emails were sent in the last week AND what the emails said. Does that make sense? Sorry, it's a little difficult for me to put into words obviously. Zoho is duplicating accounts, when adding new contacts to the account
Why are the accounts being duplicated when I add another contact to the account? Are we only able to have one contact per account?

Zoho task re-schedule won't show calendar
Hello! When you first make a task in Zoho, it's all good and easy. You put a reminder, choose the date in the pop-up calendar and it's good. When it comes to re-scheduling the task, there is a bug that when you press on the date, the calendar doesn't work. This has been going on since I began using the software 4 months ago. Hi we do have a email field on contacts but not in accounts module. when i look into account details, i would like to see the email address of the contact of that account. is there anyway to do it? actually i would like to have a filter on the accounts which have a contact with email address? i am unable to do it. crm versus access, which product is right for the following setup?
Our company was using access to track products and pricing, but sometimes customer are given a price that will expire after a given amount of time (as the product is purchased by us at new price). So what we would like to do is input products, customers, and be able to assign date specific prices to the products and customers. Custom quotes that can expire you might say. Is there a way to add the Contact and the Account field to the Activities layout view?
Right now columns are: subject; due date; status; priority; and activity type. HTML 5 and Web-to-Prospect form fields
I'm trying to use the HTML 5 date picker instead of a regular text input field for a web-to-prospect form. But nothing is getting passed into Zoho CRM. If I change it back to a regualr text input, the data gets passed just fine. Do you guys support HTML 5 in your forms?
Workflow - Field update from child to parent module
I created a workflow to update a field in the "Account"-Module when a field in the "Potential"-Module is edited. (when Potential stage is "won", change Account field "rating" to specified value). Zoho support told me that its not possible to update fields cross-module. But in Zoho help-section is written, that its possible to update from child- to parental modules. Custom fields are not supported by now. Did anybody create a similar Workflow - which also worked? thx Bernhard
BUG REPORT mail merge templates in Writer
Mail merge templates created in Writer using the Potentials module won't allow using Lookup Fields from any of the modules associated with the Potential. The search type fields simply do not appear as an option to be inserted in the document. This is a problem, as many fields are of the "seach type" in CRM, linking one module to another, and therefore one cannot use mail merging using those fields. We detected this bug a long time ago and are surprised to see it here still. Please verify the bug

Global Search
I enter a new task. The subject is "marketing ideas" Later I want to edit the entry. I type "marketing" in the global search field and nothing is returned. I go into Task and scroll through the listings. Sure enough "marketing ideas" is there. Why isnt the task showing up in search? How can I fix this? Thanks.

Creating a Report for Subscription
Here is my scenario, hopefully I can explain it well. We offer subscription based meal services. We are currently using Potentials (Start & End) Dates to monitor these. I also have a daily report which runs and is sent out to our Production facilities. My issue is such: It is possible that Start Date is in the future, for example today is October 14th, my start date may be in the future for example October 16th. I don't want it to show on my report for October 15th, but I cannot figure out a way
Date criteria by week?
We tend to keep track of things by week around here a lot, and I was wondering if it's possible to set search criteria for the previous calendar week. (Actually Saturday through Friday, rather than Sunday through Saturday if possible.) Obviously, the last 7 days is manageable, as is just rewriting the criteria each week to specify start and end date, but the ideal for us would be to have a way to filter, for example, closing dates in the previous calendar week automatically.
