Autoresponder with overarching rules for days to send emails
Hi everyone, I was able to set a series of autoresponder emails, but I couldn't find the way to add these rules: If email deployment dates fall on a federal holiday, email sent 1 business day prior If email deployments fall on a Friday, email sent 1 business day prior Is there a way to do this?
Changing a field based on record age
For leads I have a lead status, live/warm/cold/dead. I would like to change this status based on the number of days since the last update to the record. What is the easiest way to do this. I have tried to create a workflow but it doesn't seem possible to set a rule for number of days since last update, just a date itself. Can I create a new field called age calculated by a formula and use that instead? Are formula fields automatically updated or do they deed to be edited and saved? I tried mass
Creating Recurring events or Tasks
I recently started using this and am setting up rules and automation items. One thing i dont see is being able to setup tasks that can reoccur. For instance. I set a task to follow up with a customer 30 days after something is triggered. I would like to setup a task to automatically reset for another follow up 30 days after that and repeat until i have it stop due to another action being taken.

How can I update Contacts so that their owner matches the Account Owner
This is probably really simple but i'm pretty new to Zoho and this has stumped me... I want every contact to be owned by the same member of staff as the account owner - currently I have exceptions to this that I want to remove. There must be a simple way to do this without exporting the data amending it in excel and re-importing it but I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks, Ben
importing activities into zoho crm
I exported my leads from Zoho CRM and had someone else do some telemarketing. They have the activities for each lead in an .xlsx file - how do I import it back in? I know how to import leads but I'm not sure about activities. Thanks, John
Can't find Last "Last Activity Time" Field for lead layout
I have setup the layout for my leads and I can't find the standard field "Last Activity Time" it's listed as one of the standard fields for Leads but it's not in the removed fields or anywhere in my layout. I can't figure out how to add it to the layout. Anyone help?

Changing a CRM field from date format to Date and Time
I have a date field that I need to be able to have a criteria search between 2 dates.. I understand that can only be done with a date time field. So, I need to change the format of the the date field to a date time format. Can I do this easily? or do I need to export all my leads, delete the old field with just the date format and then create a new field with date time and then import all leads back in? Hi there, What I'm ideally trying to do is when a customer puts their details into a web form which then creates a contact in Zoho an automatic email is sent immediately with follow up email over a, for example, 30 day time scale (potentially 3 emails in this time) but as automated as possible - is this something that can be done? Hello! I export data from Zoho CRM in .csv file with some Russian text. When I open file in Excel 2010, I can not see this text in correct format. I install language pack for Russian in Office 2010; Enable Russian language as editing language; Set Region and language, Non-unicode as Russian; Instal and enable Win 7 Ultimate Russian Language Pack. Bug: Editing email in Leads
In the Lead view there is a bug - most fields you can move the mouse over and an edit button shows up, but for the Email field IF THE EMAIL ADDRESS IS LONG, the edit button shows up when you hover over the email address itself. If you try and move back over the Edit button it disappears. For example if the email address is xxxxx@xxxxx.xxx it works fine xxxxx.xxxxxx@gmail.com it doesn't

Hi, at the CRM>Home>Classic View a nice little, square red icon showing how many days a task is delayed is displayed. This is a very useful eye catcher. Sometimes I will be at the Zoho CRM Home page and, when I click the link for CONTACTS, nothing happens. I tried closing the browser and starting over, still nothing. Most of the time I just leave Zoho CRM open on my browser and it works fine, but not right now. Any suggestions? --Greg

Customizing Potentials
We are going to start using the Potentials area of ZohoCRM to capture information. One of the default/mandatory fields is "Potential Name". Instead of having this as a free-form field I would like to change this field to be a picklist with preset values. Is there any way this can be done? Ideally we want to run reports based on certain types of product we are selling. I realize I can create a customized field to capture this information but would like to use the existing field if possible.
