Sending mails from Google Apps
BUG: *Some emails* that were sent from google apps are not reflected in the CRM. We check the emails address of our contacts. However, if the emails are sent from the CRM they appear, unfortunately this was not done because we prefer the emails-editor-system of google. Thanks

Find and Merge Duplicates
It would help if we could customize the standard criteria for when we click the Find and Merge Duplicates button. When it pulls up any record with first name "John" OR any company with "Not Provided" then you have to go and clear those fields and search again, it renders it useless for most users because of the extra steps. If only I could set it so that the first name was omitted and Not Provided was never used then people would find it useful and be a decent solution next to http://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/check-for-duplicates-upon-entering-new-record

Unlimited Mass Email through my own SMTP server
I have read many requests for possibility to use unlimited mass emails through customer SMTP server. Unfortunatelly - ZOHO CRM still does not have this option to send the mass emails through the customer SMTP server. Here is last ZOHO answer (in another topic) from 21.Dec.2009: "But we will analyze this in our future updates. Also, we are planning the update our email editor in our future updates." Problems with notes
Hi Zoho team We've been having a couple of problems with getting the functionality we need. Do you have any suggestions for the following problems? Problem one: We have typically 1 or two contacts associated with an Account. When people in our company deal with that account we like all the notes to be kept in one place (even if they occured from intereaction related to different people in the account). I see the new blog post about the new integration of Writer and CRM and Mail Merge. From reading the blog its suggesting that the features are accessed within CRM. Changing the "From email address" in Templates
How do I change the "From email address" in Templates. When I click on the drop down arrow next to email, I don't see an option.
Import Calls
Hi, I'm starting the use the Call recording section to record time spent on my customers. This will save me using Toggl as a separate time recording service. Is there a way to import a csv to the Calls section so I can import old time sheets ? Also, is there any way to rename some of the fields that have the word "call" in them ? Kind Regards Jon

On-Edit workflow rules are not firing
I have tried many types of configurations of workflow rules and editing multiple records and different fields within the records and can NOT get a workflow rule to trigger on edit. This is the same if i set the rule as Create/Edit or just plain Edit. Create rules are working fine, as well as field-level triggers. Am i missing something?

How to send from a Lead
Hi I am confused. I have an alias that points to a pop box. I want to send from that alias when I am in a Lead or a Potential. I get one of two results, depending on my configuration. The first is that it will only let me send from my pop box. e.g user@isp.com or even worse, when I click the send button nothing happens. I set the pop box up in the email tab (under pop accounts). I activated the zoho email add on. But I juts can't get the send to work. Thanks Dave
How do I make a dashboard of total YTD closed sales, with Totals?
Seems like an obvious dash to have, can't seem to figure it out!? I want a dash on my home page that shows Year To Date Total sales (From closed potentials), and totaled up at the bottom.
Shared Calendar Feature
In our current CRM, I can see all my staffs calendar events, in an organized view, as well as schedule multiple staff to same events, so it shows up on each staffs calendar. We really need this feature, seems like a pretty easy thing to add.
Locate map not working due to cross site scripting?
Locate Map is not working in Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), and is giving me an error that cross site scripting is the problem. I have Disabled cross site filtering in IE, but still get the error. Has anyone else experienced this problem and know how to get around it? I do not have any problems with this in Firefox or on Mac browsers of any flavor.

Province? In the USA, we don't have Provinces, we have States. It would be great if I could change that default field to something more appropriate for my use. Otherwise, give me the ability to delete it, so I can add State properly. Thanks.

CRM Calendar - view changes dates when I selct a different viewing option
If I jump a couple of months ahead in the calendar to see what is going on with events etc and for example I am looking at 5th December 2010 in 1 day view. If I decide to change the view to 30 days to see what surrounds this day the date jumps back to the present time with the new view and then i have to navigate my way back to the same time again that i was just at. Can you please fix this so that the view change can occur without the date re-setting? ...Or at least provide an option where that

This new "feature" of forcing me into forums with no clear link to get into my CRM sucks.
Trouble for users logging into their Zoho CRM accounts through Google Apps link
I added an account to my Zoho CRM and than when I go to the Google Apps email page and click more... But the user receives a message stating that they do not have permission. I check their account and everything checks out. They are active and validated. Any ideas on what's going on?
Customize Field Names of non-custom Fields
I would like to customize the field names of non-custom fields. There are several default terms used to identify default fields that do not align with our business. The term Closing Date in Potentials is a good example. That field needs to be called Contract Date for us. In our business, the term Closing Date refers to the date that a home buyer "closes" on their home and takes ownership. This is typically two to six months after the Contract Date. re: duration of beta testing
ZOHO crm to Quickbooks Integration Expert or Mr. Rajeshkannan, You guys are doing a very great job! Zoho's contributions to the global business world is history making. Although many people are commenting on the need for integration to online accounting software, I too know and believe that integration to traditional "owned/licensed" software is the right priority for now. I will not ask when beta testing will be complete, but I would like to ask how long the QB integration has been in Beta testing?
"home" tab. How to hide closed potentials?
Firstly, great product, thank you! My question is: Is there a way to hide the 'closed' potentials on the 'home' page? I have the dashboards all laid out great, but now realize closed deals take up the entire potentials window. Which makes the that particular dash useless now... Thanks!

I am trying to change the columns in some reports. When I open each report the list of columns I have chosen is different to the columns that are showing on the actual report....anyone else having this problem? If I add the correct columns again they appear twice in the actual report.
