How do I maintain Lead Owner and Date/Time Stamp after conversion
Is there a way to make the lead owner and created date follow the lead through the conversion process. The reason I need this is for when there is an ownership dispute between sales people. In one particular instance a sales person had one letter of the leads name wrong and 2 sales people were unknowingly working the same lead. They both converted the lead to a prospect but we now have to try and figure out who was working the lead first.
Maintaining linkage between tables when downloading and/or uploading contacts database
Good day, I have the need to download my contacts, perform some data manipulation, and then upload them once again. How can I do this and maintain the links to the Vendors? The download does not appear to include the linkage data that will reconnect the files when the upload occurs. Or, when I upload will the uploading data merge with the already existing contacts? This is a real show stopper and if I can't do this we will have to move on. WFL

zoho database will not accept email addresses
within zoho CRM, when I try to paste or type and then save an email address for one of my contacts it is not accepted, i.e. i paste it in the empty box, it appears, but nothing happens when I click SAVE. The field is designated as an "email" field.

Google Apps Email Account Configuration
Hi! We are experiencing problems with the Zoho Mail Add-on POP e-mail configuration. It shows the "Invalid mail account information. Please check your POP configuration" error message. I tried to resolve the issue with the support team at Zoho, with no luck (the last thing that they suggest is to contact Google). Please, has anyone experience this kind of issue? Thanks in advance! Please provide the option for an email template to be sent from the user sending the email and not be confined to 1 specific email.
HTML coded email
Is it possible to copy/past HTML coded email message into the body of an email template? When I tried, the code wasn't converted to the graphic email I wanted. I'm not a coder (I get the code from my developer in a separate doc and copy/paste it when using SalesForce -- but it didn't work in Zoho . . .) Is this possible? Tax calculations - counter to how things work in the US?!
I notice that tax calculation is based on product (in the Product module) whereas is the US tax is computed on products based on which city of a county a customer is located. Is there any way to get around this? Perhaps through an API or something? For example, we are a service company and we have technicians who go to customers location in let's say 30 different cities in California, US. Problems with importing data
Hello. I've tried to import contact data from the .xls and .csv file, it wouldn’t do it. I managed to map all fields. It says after the import operation No. of Records added: 0 No. of Records updated: 0 No. of Records ignored: 276 (Reason: Due to empty values for any of the mandatory fields) I’ve attached the shortened version of the document that I was using. When Leads are converted the Date/Time the lead was created info is lost. Is there a way to have this information follow the conversion process? There are some instances where we need to find out the date time the lead was first created (conflicts between sales people etc.)

Since Products can be linked between Leads and Accounts, it should be capable of creating a single report list with 2 simple columns: Company Name or Account Name Owner Sometimes you just want a list of companies linked to a product, but this does not seem possible.

selected e-mail cannot be initialize
Anyone else having a problem with the Zoho CRM Outlook plugin when you select more than one e-mail and click on 'Add E-Mail' in the Outlook plugin it spits out an error 'selected e-mail cannot be initialize'. Any idea how to fix this error? I know I can go one by one to upload the e-mails but I have hundreds (well maybe just under 100) client e-mails and that will take a long time.

Multiple Accounts under 1 project
We often provide quotes to multiple contractors under 1 project name. Cannot Associate Contacts with Vendors

I know how to import Contacts and how to import Vendors but how do I import a group of contacts within a Vendor? For example; When I go to the Vendor tab, I pick a vendor and scroll down to contacts. Emails showing the wrong 'from' address
The primary email address associated with my Zoho account is correct. And when I open an email to send within CRM, it shows that correct address in the 'from' field. BUT when that email reaches the recipient, the 'from' field has changed to xxx@zoho.com instead of the correct address. How do I change this please?
