Been using ZOHO CRM and MAIL for 3 months. I like the depth it offers. However, we are trying to set up HOW to best follow the chain of lead to close. Here is how our business works. we are b2b 1 - Incoming Call from Various Advertisements -seomtimes and email but mostly phone that . 2 - Verbally Qualify client and discuss their needs 3 - sometimes it is general info and sometimes specific quotation that they request 4 - we often quote over phone if possible. WHAT WE NEED 1 - input that inbound call
BIG PROBLEM IN CASE MANAGEMENT
One big problem is there in zoho crm. We are not able to send emails from case. Suppose a case is created and we want to send an email to the reported person, related to the case, there is no option. Similary once a case is escalated or closed, we cannot send email to the reporting person. This is a basic feature, which should be there for case handling. THIS IS BIG PROBLEM. Our whole purpose of subscribing zoho crm is getting defeated.

Trouble with ZOHO CRM document viewer
Hi, I have been uploading agreements for vendors to Zoho. When I upload, I cannot use the viewer, it will only allow me to download the document again. When I try to use the viewer I get a message that says "the document you are trying to access has expired". Why is this?
Merging Fields in a Link
I searched but didn't really see a topic on this. I am looking for a way to merge fields in a link. For example <a href="http://www.zoho.com /?key=${Contacts.Merged Field}">www.zoho.com</a> when saved will turn into <a href="http://www.zoho.com/?key=[$%7BContacts.Merged%20Field%7D]">www.zoho.com</a> and it won't work.
Potencial - Quotes synchronization
Hi, I have this case: I create a potencial From this potencial I create a new quote New quote is edited and sent by mail (button send mail) Mail sent appears in Emails section for Quote, but not for Potencial If I convert the quote in an invoice the history repeats, emails are storage just for new invoice, but not for entire potencial. Default sort order for tasks in Home view
The default task list on the home view sorts tasks by due date with those furthest away being a the top. I would make a lot more sense to display the tasks with the closest due date at the top. That way I could focus on the most immediate tasks first.
2MB Limit on Attachments
Is it possible to increase the 2mb attachment size limit? 2mb is too small if you are sending B2B proposals and marketing materials. tholmes

Task Notification Email - Using Last Name
Why is the task notification email using only a persons last name? How about just Dear John instead of Dear Smith or use the persons full name that is in the system such as Dear John Smith. It looks unprofessional. Thanks -g-

When you convert a possibility into a sale how do you transfer those details to your card payment system? Is there a faster way of doing it than having 2 windows open and cutting and pasting each field while the prospect holds their credit card? How do I print a report so that the users name appears only once in the first column while in the second column all the leads appear without the users name next to each one? Also when I click on the lead name why does the lead name alphabetize by first name, which I dont want, and not last name which I do want? Thanks harlan@ats.org
Set of Tasks
Hello. I am wondering if it is possible to create a set of tasks that are automatically assigned to any contact that has just been converted. I am also generally wondering if it is possible to group tasks so that I dont have to add every single one manually. Is there something that can be done in one step to either manually or automatically attribute a set of tasks to a client or lead? Thank you! Scott
Expected Response
When creating a campaign, it asks for Expected Response. If I expect a 3% response, do I enter 3 in this field? Or do I enter 46.8 for a 3% response from 1560?
Dynamic filter for custom lead field
Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to filter a custom date/time field to show 'next x days'. This already happens for 'lead created date' field in the standard filters already set up in Zoho. Can I create another standard filter, or enter a string into advanced fields that will achieve the same result? Thanks
Run my products in two currencies
Hi, I know how to change the currency in Zoho CRM but I want all my pricing to be in two currencies? Is that possible? If so how? What I am trying to achieve is the ability to product invoices in Euro and GBP - as we have customers that deal in both currencies. Also - there will be different tax rates - I think I know how to asssign a diffent tax rate but if the person who can answer the main question can answer this - I would greatly appreciate it. I created a custom lookup field for Purchase Orders that looks up Contacts in order to circumvent the customers email address from appearing when emailing a purchase order. Field Name: Customer Related List Label: Customers Purchase Orders When I create a Customer Purchase Order, shouldn't the lookup field Customer be auto filled?

Creating Sales Orders with Contacts not Accounts. Is Address
I do B2C and I have imported all my clients into the Contacts because it is easier for me to convert leads to contacts (I couldn't figure out how to convert leads to accounts) anyway...When I create a new sales order and I choose the contact I am making the order for, the address info does not automatically update. Expected Revenue set to 0 after changing a potential's stage
Hi, Anytime that i change the stage of a potential, the expected revenue is automatically set to 0.0. This seems to be a bug. If it is not, please provide a way to alter this default behaviour (or at least an explanation of why this is the optimal functionality). thanks, Elliot

Hi, Whenever I create a new report and save it, then want to make a change, and click 'Customise', any 'lookup fields' I had selected to display as columns in the report no longer display. At first I thought that it may be because of invalid characters in the field names (some of the fields have - in them. What characters are valid for field names by the way?), but then I realised only lookup fields seem to be affected. Report runs fine from save until I click 'customise', then the fields disappear,
How can I use personalized Products Field into Invoices Field?

First of all, I need to configure as personalized: In the Products fields - Product Cost: U$ xx,00 (ok, easy) so, In the Invoice fields I'd like to see ${Products.Producst Cost (U$)} and then to apply a rule that if I check the List of Fields at Invoices called "Sell Type" it makes a "Back Comission Calc"... for example: ${Products.Unit Price} - ${Products.${Products.Custo (U$)} = X / "Sell Type" (that defines the correct % of back comission). Speed issues Zoho CRM
Hi, We are a paying user of Zoho CRM. Yesterday (Thursday 6-6:30pm Australian Eastern Standard Time) our users were reporting that Zoho was unbearably slow. (This is not the first time it has been slow for us but first time I've recorded date and time. I'll be doing it more often from now on.) Are you aware of any issue at that time that may have caused issues? Not sure where Zoho's servers are based but could it be some scheduled maintenence causing the issue? If so, would it be at all possible
String substitutions in workflow task subject field?
Say you set up a workflow to create a set of tasks when a new lead is created. Is is possible to include the lead name in the task subject field.... are there a set of substitutions you could use, for example I'd like to do something like this: Subject: "Do something important for ${Company}" Generally its much easier if each task subject identifies the lead to which its assigned, so you dont need to create custom views all the time.

Custom Lookup Field for Quote | Related Lead

Switching to other Zoho applications
I am quite new to Zoho and I am testing Zoho CRM and other applications for use in my company. So far, I am very impressed. I notice in many Zoho applications, there is a "Switch To" button that opens up a pull down menu that lets me quickly jump to other Zoho applications. This is nice because it reminds me of all the things I can do within Zoho. But I don't see this option in Zoho CRM. Are there plans to add this button?
