Importing into free edition - can I add fields?
Hi I would like to give Zoho a real trial, but with the free addition it seems I can only import certain fields and will lose my contact notes unless I go back in an add them manually. Have I missed something?
Upgrade old professional version to current professional license
Hello Zoho! I am testing the new territory management features for a Zoho Client, they own an "Old Professional" version. I understand that in order to use this feature they will have to upgrade to the current (Enterprise) version. But I need to know: - To what extend will be the customizations maintained if they upgrade from "old professional" to "professional" or "Enterprise"?. - Is there any way to do a backup / export / import not only of the data but also of the current customized system features?

Sending Emails to potentials
Hello I would like to know how I can send an email to a lot of potentials, I have tried setting up the email in my Templates and then when I go to Potentials I tick the Potentials I want to send the email to but keep getting a message that 0 of 0 emails have been sent. what am I missing ? I have setup a workflow trigger so that when I create a New Prospect and I select a pull down menu for Prospect Lead Source an email will go out to the prospect. Unfortunately nothing is happening. No email is sent. What do I need to do next?

Create a View with Account and Contact information
We tag all visitors to our exhibit at conferences with the "contact" record. If we see Joe Smith, we have a data field (multi pick list) where we track we saw Joe Smith at a certain show. Ability to TOTALLY partition a Zoho CRM database

Custom field that is a calculated field off of other completed fields
We score each Potential as we develop the opportunity prior to bid. The score is comprised of the sum of a series of individual scores. We have created fields for each of the individual scores. These fields contain a drop down pick list with the options being 0,1,2,3..10 I would like to create a calculated field (not manually editable) based on the sum of the fields contain the individual scores. There does not appear to be a cell based function to access the value of another field automatically.

Create Report To Track What % of Potentials Become Closed Won
I'm trying to create a report that tells me what % of potential new jobs I win. I assume this will be pretty simple but can't find a way to do it. I see I can do something similar through Leads but I work as a copywriter for a lot of web development partners. So they have a potential project, send me the details and then I provide a quote and we go from there. So most of my work comes from only around 10 referral partners and because these are all contacts already I can't create new leads for them.

hello, for some reason the layout of our contacts page changed compeletly. At the setup layout page, it apears the same, but on the contact's page the layout is compeletly different. what can do? i can't see any of contacts information.

I am trying to create a new Purchase Order in the Inventory Templates. It is proving very difficult as figures etc won't stay lined up or go where i want them to go! Does any one know if there is a simple way of achieving this? Or is it possible to import a Purchase Order from a word document?

field name customization
it would be great if it was possible to customize field names, so that, even if the application is not localized, we could at least put our own translation. This is particularly true for the printed invoices. I have looked through the configuration but I was only able to change the invoice section name, not the fields like billing address, ... I was curious when Zoho will be updated so its easy to use and functional? Even the forum area, it was difficult to find how to ask a question. There is no "Ask a Question" button or tab or link. I had to guess the "New Topic" is how I got here. Makes no sense.

When I open an existing ticket in Zoho CRM, I don't have the option to send an email from/for that ticket.. I can only add a task, but no email. What is the best way to create a follow-up email regarding a ticket (with ticket number, description and priority). Thanks, F.

During my trial period I could BCC Zoho and the email would get attached to the record. Now that I am paying for the professional level this does not appear to work. Is that feature not offered in the Professional CRM package?
Mass mail from reports
We generate different reports in Zoho CRM, mostly based on cross module information (contacts + quotes). After having those reports I need to send a mass email to them. Now I'm doing it through a newsletter web service, but I would like to do it from Zpho CRM, directly, without need to export to CSV, import into this web service and then send email. B2C Is Not Just Turning off the Company Field!

Printing from different templates
How can I easily choose between 2 different templates when I want to print? We enter orders into the invoice module and need to print a packing slip template. The default is an invoice template. is there a way to choose between templates rather than going in and changing the default within the setup module?
Prospects / email
I am trying to use this CRM thing to the fullest. I have the Outlook plugin. When I send an email to the prospect I can create a lead in ZOHO that keeps up with that email. If I am sending an email to request more information from a different source (for example if I am writing a vendor) can I attach it to the prospects email stream in ZOHO?

I am trying to figure out how to set up an e-mail campaign that will allow me to track, auto respond when a lead has clicked in and notify me that some one has clicked onto my e-mail. ZOHO says it's easy, but so far I have spent 5 hours trying to figure this out. Any experts out there?
Autoresponse emails
Hello, I notice that emails sent via an autoresponse trigger (eg. a webform) are not included in the Contact's email history. Will this be fixed in Zoho CRM? Also, is there a way to send a time-based 2nd automated email? eg. Contact fills out a form and receives an autmated email immediately. 1 day later they receive a 2nd email with a special offer. Can this be done?
Web form size
Our website requires the web form be not more than 400 pixels wide. It appears that the minimum width of the Zoho web form is 600 pixels. How can we over ride the minimum width? Thank you. Brad Bowman
problem with date/time and delivery of task reminders
Hi We are experiencing a problem which has been going on only recently, maybe the last 2 weeks or so. We have all our activity reminders set for the same time every morning (9AM) but recently the reminders have not appeared in our email at the correct time. Sometimes they are up to 6 hours late and then appear in blocks of 20 or so but never all together. Additionally there seems to be a problem with adding reminders for some users as they appear with an end time in some cases and not with others.
Search does not find contact
Hi there, I just entered a new contact, saved it, confirmed all the information is there, and now when I do a search, this contact cannot be found. Other contacts can be found, but not this one. All search parameter boxes are unchecked, so everything is being searched. I have searched on first name, last name and company name. Nothing is found. Please advise. Thank you.
Leads - Overwrite or Clone?
I would like to import a list of leads, however, I believe some of them already exist within my existing leads. What is the best way to retain the data (notes, populated fields...) of existing leads, while importing the entire new document? Thank you
Recycle Bin Search
I had the unfortunate experience of having to retrieve some records after dealing with a messed up data import. After having gone through that I think it would be really nice if ZCRM would add a search feature specifically for the recycle bin.
email template name alredy exists
How do I create a new email template? I recently have tried to edit an existing template only to have the error box appear stating I couldn't save it because the template name already existed. I KNEW that. SO I tried to create an entirely new template (under a new template folder) and got to the end tried to save it only to have the same little box appear stating the template name already existed. I tried like 10 different names only to have the box appear each time. Any help?
