When creating events for an account or a contact is it possible to automatically populate the Venue field. The venue field is in the "more fields" section of the popup you get when creating an event

Logging GMail messages
Hi, I added Zoho CRM to my Google Apps account to try things out. I don't see any ability to just log an email with a contact in the GMail interface and no gadget seems to provide this functionality. The best I can find is the POP set up, which even then, I'm not sure what it does. I have 3 years worth of email and the POP sync is still running after 4 days. View by customized field in Lead Information section
I created a field called Contact Type in the Lead Information type and it differentiates our leads in a helpful way. How can I view by this field? For example, one of our types is "architect" and I'd like to pull up a list of just our architects. Thanks!

We have quite a few leads that come in to our sales reps. So, John Smith gets just the right amount of leads per day. Say he gets 50 of them, and he reached out to 40 of them. Out of the 40, he got hold of 15 prospects. What about the next 35? How does John Smith keep track of getting in touch with these 35 the next day when he has another new 50 leads to handle? New Standard User Unable to See Content of Leads

How can I report set up a scheduled report on Potentials incorporating only the latest note for each Potential?
Hi, I have created a report to be automatically circulated to a distribution list. Because of the fact that the report is scheduled, I don't want to manually manipulate it. I want to show all Potentials I am working on, with only the most recent Note associated with each Potential displayed. All I can get is a report with all Notes included, unless I include a data range. Dear Zoho It great that we can use email templates that can draw data from other modules. However data merged into email templates from other modules are not url enabled. It is embarrassing to have to ask customers to cut and paste links into their browser. URLs and permelinks are basic elements of modern email communication. Is there a way in crm to auto email a potential , if they fit a certain criteria ( say stage or field status) if they haven't responded by email after x amount of days ?
Templates using MERGE Fields
I have been trying to get the merge fields to work in the email templates. They never populate the contacts name just ${Contacts.contact id}. I follow the instructions to select the field, copy and paste into the body of the template and nothing ever changes. I have been working on this for a few months. Anyone have a thought?

Re-use email address
1) I created a test company with real email address for users. 2) Found ZOHO to be useful so I deleted the test company. 3) Created new (live) company account, however the system will NOT let me used my email address. The error reports the address is already used in the system. How lone do I have to wait to be able to create user with my email address?

"Todays Tasks" not showing anything
In Activities -> Views, when I choose Todays Tasks I can't seem to be able to see any task. I would like to use this module in my homepage in order to see my to do's for the day but it doesn't show anything. This happened after I tried to create a new view in which I was trying to set the Status as "not started" but then I saw that this is not possible. After some trials, when I got back to "Todays Tasks" it showed zero records. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks, Andrei.

Urgent Actionable: Automation Assistance Required
If we have any customer issue to be resolved and we have mentioned that as a 'CASE' in ZOHO CRM. Now, when the case is resolved for a particular Account/Contact, we need an Email Automatically sent to Contact Person, as soon as we update the status as 'Solved/Completed' wrt that respective CASE, to provide the client that the case is RESOLVED.,... When someone leaves the company, if I disable their account, can I still see their emails in a lead or contact record? Seems like I can't, which is a problem for us, since obviously we want to be able to see the history of our contacts with the person.

HOW TO modify sort order of a column in related details
We need to have related records in a module list the records by newest first, but Zoho by default lists related records by oldest creation time. Can this be modified somehow so that realted records can be sorted by what the user wants? currently, we have to click on the arrow everytime we want to see the latest, most uptodate record. Zoho insists on showing old information first, this doesn't make sense from a logistical point of view. Thanks.
