Automate Vendor email
I am trying to create an automated email when I add a new vendor into my Zoho CRM. It's a basic notification letting them know that we added them to the database. However I can't get the email template to send to the vendor on creatation of their record into the Zoho CRM. Here's what I have thus far: Workflow rule - Created Module - Vendors Excute on - Create Rule Criteria - Vendors Name ( is not ) empty and Vendors email ( is not ) empty Instant Actions:Vendor Added to CRM to send New Vendor Added

I managed to get my outgoing emails automatically tagged onto my leads / contacts, but what about if I want to track all incoming emails as well i.e. when I make reference to a contact / lead, obviously I would like to track all email communications, not just my Sent emails, right? Any clue from anyone?
Find and Merge - not showing up as an option
I'm using Safari on a Mac. I have duplicate leads I'm trying to eliminate. Under More Actions, I see 'Merge Mail' but when I go to use it, I get a message that I need a Microsoft Plugin, "click here" - I do that and it says it's not available to me. No where do I see 'Find and Merge' What do I need to do? Thank you.

Field duplicates?
I have created some custom fields for leads that i'd like to appear on the accounts when a lead is converted. when i customise fields it makes me create fields for leads and for accounts but i want to have the same field in both, not separate fields (ex, number of employees). How can i do that?
Updating my own job title
I have searched and can't find an answer to this. Please send a link if covered elsewhere. I need to update my own job title in my profile. I see where to update my name and alias, but not my "role," which is my job title. Any help?
Empty contact list in Account page
Hi, The contact list is rendered empty in the Account Details page: It works well if there is no contacts available (shows the gray box). It shows up if you rearrange the page layout with "Organize Account Details". But them it becomes empty again when reloading the page. I Customized my Leads Columns and One is NOT Showing its Content
I created a new leads field (handler) and added it to my "All Open Leads" summary page by editing the columns there, but NONE of the drop-down list content in that field (which IS entered and IS visible in the individual leads themselves) shows up in the summary page, even though that field IS listed in the header above what appears to be a blank colum.

Managing Leads and Converting them
Our Leads are business names and not actual people's names. Right now I am having to enter the business name into the Last Name field and also the Company Name field, Ideally I would want the the Company Name field be the only required and not the last name. So when converting leads it just creates an account with the Company Name and not a new contact also, as we are dealing with businesses and not individuals as accounts. Is this possible at all, any help is greatly appreciated.

I need a method to log incoming email when a local email client is not an option. My company uses Outlook Web Access, and I do not have a local email client on my PC. Outbound emailing in Zoho CRM is no problem, because I can use my company email address and send out emails, and they get logged in the appropriate Contact record. My problem is, I have no way of capturing inbound email in Zoho CRM that are sent to me from a contact in Zoho CRM, because those emails go to Outlook Web Access.

Issue with duplicate records and sharing info
I have a problem with duplicate contacts. I have 2 users in the system (PAUL & MIKE) and these 2 users have 1 lead each that has the same email. Paul has his lead John White with the email john@aol.com Mike has his lead Carl Black with the email john@aol.com When I go to see the contact details in the specific lead page, I see emails from both users the email sent from Paul to John and the emails sent from Mike to Carl. Is it possible to avoid this kind of issue? Is it possible to avoid duplicates
Can't access reports
As of yesterday, none of the three admins on our account can access any reports. When we click on one we get the message: Insufficient Privileges to perform this operation. Contact your Administrator. Back to Home. Has anyone else had this happen to them recently? There were no settings changed so this is all confusing to me. Thanks!

Bug when editing Potential Stage in IE
I use Chrome as my browser and have no problems with anything so far. One of my managers uses Internet Explorer and has the following strange behavior when trying to edit the Sales stage in a Potential: The "Edit" hyperlink appears correct when hovering over the Stage (Closed/Won, Analysis etc) but, as soon as you move towards the "Edit" Hyperlink, this disappears so there is no way to edit the stage. This works perfectly in Chrome, haven't tried in Firefox but most definitely doesn't work in IE.

How do I transfer all accounts from one salesperson to another. Not 10 at a time, nor 100 at a time, but a mass transfer of all accounts (in this case, about 14,000)? Any help is appreciated.
Challenges with mandatory fields after I have changed the Tab Name
I have just started to use ZOHO CRM. Our company works often with Charities and so we renamed one of the Tabs "Charities". I was able to customize two other tabs and all of the associated fields. When I attempted to change the "Last Name" field in Charities I found that I could not alter its "Mandatory" Status. Through some research I have found that certain tabs cannot be made non-mandatory, for Quickbooks reasons. My issue is that "Last Name" Does not fit with the Charity Tab. Is there a
How do i make the macros that I have created so that they are available for another user (without recreating them)?
I have created about 10 macros to send out emails and update certain fields. My intention is to set these up for an assistant to use. However, when she logs in under her ZOHO CRM account, the macros are not visible. Is there any way to give her access to those macros without starting over and redoing all of them under her account? I have even tried to set her up as Admin instead of Standard user, but that seems to make no difference. I would rather keep her as a Standard user anyway.
Change required fields for events
Is there any way to change the required fields for events? There doesn't seem to be, but why not? It's too tedious to be forced to select and end time for events so I'd rather not show that field.
There seems to be a problem with your search feature
When I search with in my leads, I find that I often do not pick up some leads when I search under first or last name. Sometimes I can find those same leads by putting in the last 4 digits of their phone number. Other times that does not work but the last name will. Quotes and exporting to pdf on Android
I"m having issues when I try to export a quote to pdf on CRM on an android device. The file wont open on adobe's pdf reader app after downloading it. I have never had any issues with this app or opening any other pdf files on my android device. If it is any help...I'm using a Nexus 10 tablet with version 4.2.2.

HiIm Currently running my zoho crm / zoho mail via a Chrome browser on a Win 8 laptop and keep experiencing display problems, either the page loads in text only format(really basic screen) or it stalls on the dashboard loading screen, and keeps requiring a screen refresh upon login. Is this an issue that is able to be rectified as i preference chrome over IE9, Firefox etc, is anyone else experiencing the same issues ? Thanks

How to change the top fields of the business card view?
Hello there, In the business card view of our contacts we see the full name of the contact, then a dash and then the contents of the gender field. Normally this last field shows the associated account name. See the attachment (in Dutch, I'm afraid...) Email template is not inserting the lead name as expected
I am using the first name field in my template ---> ${User.First Name}, I have a number of templates that I have been using. I have tested samples of each and they all insert the first name except one. I have tried to totally redo that template from scratch and it still is ignoring the field. Linking emails on the Potential and Contact Pages
I currently have one contact linked to each potential. I would like to see a record of the emails I send under each potential. So far, I am able to email each contact from the Potential page, but I don't see a record of the email that is sent nor the reply email on the Potential page. I do, however, see the email only under the contact page. How can I link emails so that I can view them under the Potential page?
