Account number on zoho
Hi, We have migrated our client list through to ZOHO, however, we are now looking manually entering our account numbers which are in the format of (123/S1) - however, ZOHO keeps giving us an error to input a valid account number. We tried several variations, but it seems that it doesn't accept Alphanumeric numbers. Please let us know of a solutions this matter. Limit leads to owner
Hello, we are new users to Zoho and running into an issue. Some of our agents are so excited to contact the leads that they don't always filter to their leads and we've run into the issue of agents contacting other agents leads. is there a way to limit the leads that standard accounts can see? is there a way to default the view to My Leads instead of All Leads? I tried looking through FAQ's and the forum but i didn't see anything specific to this.
Zoho Invoice <-> Zoho CRM syncing
I'm having a problem that I can't figure out. We are using Zoho Invoice for a while now and have about 85 accounts in it with contacts and invoices. Now we are setting up Zoho CRM. So originally, we had clients' names as Display Name in Zoho Invoice. When we synced data with Zoho CRM, new accounts were created, but account names were client names and we wanted them to be Company Names. Time based alerts or tasks on business days
I have set up a work flow rule, in this work flow rule there is one alert and one task. This rule is activated in the event of an updated field. The rule works great and has a time based alert and task. These work perfectly. The problem I have is that I require the time based calculation of 5 days to be 5 business days. Error with Record Sharing in Zoho CRM 2016
Hi Zoho, A few of our users switched over to Zoho CRM 2016. When they did that, however, they were no longer able to edit records that had a different contact owner. This is editing any field (e.g. phone number, email). The user makes the change thenthey received an Access Denied error message upon trying to save. Single Email Tracking
Our company requires the ability to track email opens and link click throughs via our CRM. Evidently, Zoho doesn't offer this feature out of Zoho CRM nor does it have any integration parters. Is this feature on Zoho CRM's roadmap, is there an ETA?

Multiple Potential Forms
Hi Is there any way we can design different layouts for a potential? We provide a range of services, each with different field types. We have the fields in different sections. Currently the potential layout has to show all of these sections even though most are redundant. Even if you could make the sections visible if a "Potential Type" field contained a certain value it would be a start. Surely this must have been asked for before? Steve Matthews
Make field layout/view dependent on the selection of another field / pick list
It would be great if you could hide a field altogether based on the contents of another. For example, I have a pick list for warranty status with items "warranty" and "non-warranty." If "warranty" is selected I would like to show other custom fields like warranty number, warranty status, and warranty payments. If "non-warranty" is selected, I would like to hide those unnecessary fields from the module layout. I realize you can map field dependencies, but this would take it to another (better) level.
Date format on Custom Module Field showing in wrong format
I created a custom module and added a Support Start Date date field to it. Values entered into this field are being displayed as "Aug 4" for instead of MM/DD/YYYY. Setup > Personal Settings > Country is set to United States. Is there somewhere else I should be checking to change the date format displayed? Thanks!

On creation of a record where pick list is not selected, field value should be empty. However records have stored a value of NONE or -NONE- by default

POP3 - a very old system
I am having ongoing duplication problems with about 20% of my incoming emails in my CRM email module. Zoho Support advised that the issue was on my server side i.e not with Zoho. However, there are no duplicates in my web email - Microsoft Exchange and Office 365. Neither is there duplication in my desktop Outlook program. GoDaddy, my provider, said they are 99% sure that the problem lies with Zoho, and POP3. Apparently POP3 is very old technology going back to 1985. It is a known source of errors,

Link in conversions for "industry" and "product"

Two topic : • Drop down issues between "leads" and "accounts" : When filling up a lead the "industry" standard drop down (where we have added new entries the "industry" information) does show up in the "account" name after conversion. Pressing the spacebar key when entering a note causes the cursor to jump to the search box.
Hi Zoho support, Some of our users have noticed in the new Zoho CRM UI that whenever they press the spacebar key when entering a note, the cursor to jumps to the search box. This is happening in the most recent versions of Firefox (47 and 48). To work around, we've asked our employees to switch back to the older version of Zoho CRM. If a user clears their browser cache, the issue will temporarily stop but resume after a few minutes. (No specific time frame has been recorded.) Please advise. Best

Report on previous lead status
Hi I'm looking to assess the success rate of certain leads by determining a sales conversion rate at each stage of contact. The best way i can think of to do this, is to see what the lead status was prior to successful sale. Is there any way to generate a report on the previous status of a lead?
Permission Denied
When updating records in CRM - in this case Account Type field - I am getting a message Permission Denied, Please select an active user. If I close all browsers, open new, then I can update one client. Next client gives me the same error message. ??? Ray

When I'm trying to add a note or comment, every space causes control to jump to the search bar and my typing continues there. This happens in both Firefox and IE 11. Any ideas? I-have-to-type-like-this-which-is-painful. I'm going back to the old version.

Hi. Does anyone know why this might have happened? I sent an email using the 'Mass Email Contacts' function in the Contact module; sent the email using a template that was successfully tested on two individual contacts; and the system said/confirmed it was successful. Does it take time for the emails to go out? Am I being impatient? Also, will it show up in my Zoho mail account as being Sent? Any guidance or feedback will be welcome. Multiple Contact Page Layouts
Is there a way to have multiple page layouts for contacts? For instance if I wanted to have Contact Type A, with it's own set of say 25 custom fields, and then Contact Type B, with it's own set of 25 or so custom fields... is this possible? It seems I can only have one template which means I have to include all 50 custom fields for all contacts, which is not the desired behavior. I know I can create custom modules, or apps... but I can't make those records created be a contact record, which screws
Speed Issues
I am new. I have extensive Salesforce experience. I am trying Zoho because of price. Obviously it is not equal to Salesforce feature wise. However, I find that the features are probably good enough for my project. I imported 589 records last night. Since then the latency issues for every screen are unacceptable.
