Zoho privacy with google gears
Hi guys, I have one question about the privacy. I have been using Google-Mail for a long time. I switched over to zoho because it is better than google in many ways and another big reason is the privacy. I don't trust google a lot. My question is about the privacy of zoho. Zoho is using google products like google gears and google apps, ... Am I really rid of google when using zoho? Thank you

IMAP settings on Thunderbird
I have followed the instructions on how to configure IMAP access through a desktop client like Thunderbird (I'm using version 3.1.6). It has downloaded all folders and messages. But, once I started using it (sending messages, deleting), I'm facing some strange behaviour like messages re-appearing after deleted, messages that are in inbox, but can only be downloaded through IMAP once you have logged in through Web interface, and some other issues. Zoho Mail Add On is not free?
I am using the Professional version of Zoho CRM for my organisation. Tried to add Zoho Mail Add On for all of the three users, which is mentioned to be free if one decides to use the Lite version. However, I am not able to activate it for even one user in the Subscription section. Does that mean that I will have to pay for Zoho Mail since the Zoho CRM version is a paid one?
Email Setup Failure
When setting up a user email account, I would get an error "invalid user/ password". I know these settings are correct because I log in using our server's webmail and get in fine. Also if I setup another user's email address under my profile, I can retrieve their emails. I've already tried deleting the profile and setting it up again; I also tried shortening the password for my email account. Please assist.

Hi Why is it that that the zoho server doesn't let me send a perfectly fine email? Works if i use the webmail client, but not using thunderbird on ubuntu 12.04? Is there some kind of filtering going on the zoho outgoing server somehow? ------ An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Message refused. ActiveSync Login Failure
I've had no problems logging into my Zoho account on my smartphone and suddenly my phone is sending a login failure notification every 10-20 seconds. I've had to put my phone on silent to stop this, risking missing calls and more importantly, not receiving emails-- which is why I have the service in the first place. I have changed nothing on my end, so I have no idea what the problem is, but I need it resolved immediately.

Hello, I'm trying to send a email via my zoho account using ssmtp on my linux box but it doesn't send it. I have tried multiple times to set up my pop mail both incoming and outgoing use popmail.emeraldhost.net used 995 plus ssl ... no luck used 465 and 587 with authentication .. no luck get the error message above. Thanks
553 Relaying Disallowed ---- What should I do???
I setup the mail on Android with K-9 - I am receiving all the mails but when I send any mail, to anyone doesn't matter which address- it says 553 relaying disallowed while when I go to Internet and use it from there, I can send the messages. All my passwords and SMTP settings are correct and are according to the settings explained on Zoho help pages - but I cant send any message from my device. All the mails downloaded to inbox
Hi, When ever i used zoho for the first and configured gmail, all the mails in the gmail got downloaded in zoho inbox including the sent items also. There is no differentiation between inbox items and sent items. This created lot of confusion. Please help how to segregate inox and sent items???
Google Apps POP Account Configuration

Non ASCII attachments names are broken AGAIN
Dear Zoho Mail Team, You did break non-ascii attachments names again. They are displayed correct but when we try to download them we get broken names. The the attachment i've added to the request in Zoho Support. Could you please verify you every change before rollout? You break Russian support every time. Our users are very angry. Thank you.
How do I create a group in my Contact list?
I want to be able to create several groups of emails that I can type in one group name and have it send to multiple people at a time, without me typing in their addresses individually, or clicking on each of their names. I can't figure out how to do this on Zoho. Any ideas?
Can't find the Mail Policy link in Control Panel?
Hi Zoho, I have a sender who is having trouble getting an attachment to me and I can't find anywhere to see or set attachment size limits. When I search for help on this issue I find references to setting a Mail Policy but my Control Panel doesn't show an option for that. Where do I go to see what my Mail Policy settings are? Thanks!
Confused about setting up Pop
I have opened a personal email account and want to have messages from my gmail account sent to the zoho email via POP. I followed the "incoming server details for receiving email but it doesn't seem right to me to begin from mail.zoho.com as the instructions say. Does anyone know if you can sort labels in Zoho mail. Seems that at the moment they stay in the order which they were created. I believe Alphabetical or manually moving them would be better.

Problem with Outlook inbox
Hi I view my Zoho Mail in Outlook and it's worked quite satisfactorily until this morning when Outlook refuses to display my Zoho Inbox. All other views are fine - the inbox is the problem. I've verified my IMAP settings and successfully sent myself an email back from Outlook to confirm. Is this an Outlook problem or a Zoho problem (or a user problem)? Thanks

Why in the world did this feature ever get removes? It was one of the most uniquely helpful features. Conversation view only picks up mails with the same subject line. Subject lines are crucial for organizing mails, and being able to click on the sender and get everything that person had ever sent was great! Re-implement it please!

Migrating an IMAP account - No Auth Attempts
Hello. I am trying to migrate my dovecot (IMAP) server to Zoho. When I try to enter in my user information in the migration tool. Zoho tells me the username and password is bad. Looking at my logs I get the following. Push email stopped working (Android 4.0.4, Galaxy Nexus)

Ever since I switched to Zoho I have been getting many phishing emails. they look like they are from Facebook or Amazon but when my cursor hovers over the link it actually is a drug/viagra website.... I am not sure how to set up my filter so that these will stop coming. PLease help
Unable to send email using the email template
Hi, I was trying the email template and yesterday I was able to send a bunch of mails. I created another follow up email which I tried to send only to me.
