Attending an event
Reserving your place at an event managed with Zoho Backstage is easy, and includes the following added benefits:
- View your ticket and other event details on the microsite
- Explore sessions
- Personalize your agenda
- Engage with presenters during sessions
Buying a ticket
If you purchase a ticket or have one assigned to you, you qualify as an attendee, and can access the event microsite and mobile app.
- Click the Home tab or the Tickets tab in the microsite.
- Click the Buy Ticket button.
- Select the number of tickets that you need.
- Optional: Enter the promo code in the Promo Code textbox, then click the Apply button.
Note: Discount codes can only be applied on paid tickets. Access codes can be used to reveal hidden tickets and get a discount, if the organizer has set it up. - Click the Continue button in the bottom-right corner.
- Add the details of the ticket buyer, such as the name and email address, and enter the billing address.
- Optional: Select the I am attending checkbox to add your information to a ticket in the order.
- Optional: Click the Copy buyer information link for any ticket to automatically duplicate the purchaser's details for that ticket.
- Click the Continue button.
- Click Done.
Signing in to the event
Sign in to the event from the microsite with your email address, ticket ID, or ticket ID and name. Once you have signed in, your user role will be displayed on the microsite next to your name in the User Avatar menu in the top-right corner.
Using your email address or ticket ID
- Click the Login option in the navigation bar at the top of the event microsite. The Sign in pop-up will be displayed.
- Enter your email address or ticket ID.
Note: Click the Sign in using magic link or OTP link if you don't see the Email address or ticket ID text box in the Sign in pop-up. - Click the Get sign-in email button. You will receive an email for signing in.
- Click the Sign In button in the email you receive to login to the microsite. Alternatively, you can also use the OTP in the email to sign in.
Note: You can select the Remember me check box when you login to remain signed in for the next 15 days.
Using your ticket ID and name
- Click the Login option in the navigation bar at the top of the event microsite. The Sign in pop-up will be displayed.
- Enter your ticket ID and either the first or last name.
Note: Click the Sign in ticket ID and name link if you don't see the Ticket ID and First or last name text boxes in the Sign in pop-up. - Click Sign In.
