Checking in at the event
Onsite events
For onsite events, provide one of the following at the registration desk and walk right into the event:
- Name
- Email address
- Ticket ID
- Order ID
Using these details, the event organizer will check you into the event.
Online events
If you're attending an online event hosted with Backstage, you can check into the event by yourself.
- Sign into the event microsite.
- Go to the Home page.
- Click the Check in button.
Hybrid events
If you're attending a hybrid event hosted with Backstage, you can participate in the event based on your mode of attending in your ticket.
- For tickets with the mode of attending as Venue only, you can only check in at the event venue.
- For tickets with the mode of attending as Online only, you can only virtually check in through the microsite.
- For tickets with the mode of attending as Venue and online, you can only either check in at the venue or virtually through the microsite.
Note: Only if you check in to an event can you participate in the event like joining sessions, providing sessions feedback, and interacting with others in discussion channels.
