Online event operations with Zoom integration
Present sessions directly from Backstage with Zoom as your webcast service. Supplement your session's spoken content by sharing visuals. Access your sessions in a few simple steps.
- Switch to the Conduct dashboard using the toggle button in the top-right corner of the Event Console.
- Click the Present Sessions tab. The sessions in your agenda will be displayed in a dynamic timeline on the left.
- Click the session you want to present in the timeline. Your session details will be displayed on the right.
- Click the Start session button. Your session will open in Zoom in a new tab.
- Use tools to deliver your presentation:
- Share your screen to enable your audience to see your presentation as you deliver it.
- Respond to questions asked by your audience and display them on the screen, if needed.
- Run polls to collect feedback.
- Chat with attendees during the session to discuss related topics or clarify their questions.
- Click Exit when you're done; your session's summary and post-session analytics will be generated in the Sessions tab.
Note: You can also click the End Session button on the Present Sessions tab.
Note:
- After you start your session you can practise your session in Zoom if you have enabled this option in your webinar settings from the Event details tab.
- If you have enabled the auto-record setting, sessions will be recorded and saved in the location that you have indicated in your webinar settings from the Event details tab.
- For multi-day events, each day's sessions can only be started on the respective day.
- To present a session again, click the Restart button for that session in the Conduct Dashboard. This will overwrite the summary and analytics that were previously generated, and replace it with the latest information.
- Session rehearsals can't be conducted when using Zoom as the webcasting option.
- Attendees must check in from the Home page from their account in the event microsite to join ongoing sessions.
Presenting online sessions with Zoom is a paid feature enabled based on your subscription plan.
