3.1. Verifying your Zoho account

Account verification improves security and is needed in order to access the full set of features.

Steps to verify your Zoho Account:

When you sign up, Zoho sends a verification email to your registered email address. Until the account is verified, certain features, such as sending emails, user addition, portal and account user API, remain restricted. Verifying your account promptly ensures uninterrupted access.

Follow the steps below to check the verification status or resend the verification email from your account settings.

Note: The base URL may vary based on your DC.
  2. In the Zoho Accounts page, click My Profile Info > Email Address.
  3. On the My Email Addresses page, the email address that is not yet verified will have a Verify now button next to it.
  4. Click Send Email in the pop-up window to send a verification mail to your email address.
  5. Log in to your mail and select Verify Email Address.
  6. You will be redirected to a website for verification. Select Verify to proceed.
  7. Select Access Your Account. You will be taken to your account home page.

To ensure account protection, Zoho enforces password policies and secure handling practices:
  1. Passwords are stored securely and never in plain text

  3. Multi-factor authentication is supported
