Downloading Knowledge Base Articles as PDF Files



You can take your knowledge base articles offline by downloading them as PDF files. The downloaded PDF file will be readable, print-friendly, and contains images and table of contents. Agents can download PDFs of articles on the support interface, while end users can do the same on the Help Center. You might want to download article PDFs to:
  1. Share customers offline printed instructions
  2. Provide agents with an onboarding handbook
  3. Support previous versions of your product
  4. Take them on the go without needing an internet

Note:
  1. You cannot download articles as PDFs in bulk.

To download a PDF of an article:
  1. Click the Knowledge Base (KB) module.
  2. Open an article to view its details.
    Note: You can download only published articles to PDF.
  3. Click the Download as PDF (  ) icon in the top right area.
    The article's PDF will be generated and then downloaded to your computer.



To download a PDF on the Help Center:
  1. Navigate to the article whose PDF you want to download to your computer.
  2. Click the Download as PDF icon (  ) located alongside the article's title.
    The article's PDF will be generated and then downloaded to your computer.
