Prerequisites
Cloudinary Master admin role is required
1. If you're a Zoho One user:
- Sign in to Zoho One
, then click Directory in the left menu. - Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
- Use the search bar to find and install Cloudinary.

2. If you're a Zoho Directory user:
- Sign in to Zoho Directory
, then click Admin Panel in the left menu. - Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
- Use the search bar to find and add Cloudinary.

3. Provide a name for your app.
4. Click Add.
5. Click the Single Sign-On tab.
6. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them if needed.
7. Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Metadata URL and X.509 certificate.
To enable and configure SAML SSO for your Cloudinary account:
- Sign in to Cloudinary as Master Admin.
- Click the gear icon from the side bar in the Cloudinary Console, then click Users.
- Under Configure SAML, select Configure.
- Select the URL as the Metadata retrieval method and add the Metadata URL to the SAML metadata URL box.
- Select Inline as the Metadata retrieval method, then paste the metadata X.509 file into the SAML metadata field to save the configuration.
Test the SAML connection
Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
- Go to Applications, then click Cloudinary.
- Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
- Click on the
icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to the Cloudinary homepage.

Enforce SAML SSO
After successfully testing SSO, you can enforce it for all users. Once this is done, your users will no longer be able to sign in using their Cloudinary credentials.
To restrict users to SSO:
- Sign in to Cloudinary as an administrator.
- Click the gear icon from the side bar in the Cloudinary Console.
- Under Configure SAML, enable Enforce SAML Login and confirm your action.
- Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Make app visible to all users
After successfully testing the SSO, you can make Cloudinary available for all users to access from their My Apps page.
To make Cloudinary visible to all users:
- Sign in to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
- Go to Applications, then click Cloudinary.
- Click Unhide.

You can now access Cloudinary from Zoho Directory's
My Apps page.
