Prerequisites
Peakon's administrator access is required.
1. If you're a Zoho One user:
Sign in to Zoho One , then click Directory in the left menu.- Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
Use the search bar to find and install Peakon.
2. If you're a Zoho Directory user:
- Sign in to Zoho Directory , then click Admin Panel in the left-side menu.
- Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
- Use the search bar to find and add Peakon.
3. Name your app and enter your Company ID (enter a dummy ID until we configure SAML).
Note: To find your Company ID, sign in to your Peakon account and follow the steps to configure SAML, then copy the Company ID which is a part of the Entity ID or Reply URL (ACS) and replace the dummy ID in the Service Provider Details section in Zoho Directory. The URL pattern to find the company ID portion will be as follows:
4. If you want to test the SAML configuration before allowing users to access Peakon, uncheck Display app to users. You can later make the app visible to all users.
5. Click Add.
6. Click the Single Sign-On tab.
7. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them if needed.
8. Click
Identity Provider Details, then copy the
Sign-in URL and download the
X.509 Certificate. A .CER file will be downloaded; now rename the file to .PEM format and then save the certificate.
1. Sign in to Peakon as an administrator.
2. Click Administration in the left-side menu.
3. Click Integrations. and then select Single Sign-on.
4. Click Single Sign-On, then click Connect.
5. In the SSO Log-in URL field, paste the previously copied Sign-in URL.
6. In the Certificate field, click Choose file and upload the X.509 certificate saved in .PEM format.
7. Below the Name ID field, select the Dropdown as "Email."
8. Click Save.
Test the SAML connection
1. Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
2. Go to Applications, then click Peakon.
3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
4. Click on the
icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Peakon's home page.
Enforce SAML SSO
After successfully testing SSO, you can enforce it for all users. Once this is done, your users will no longer be able to sign in using their Peakon's credentials. To restrict users to SSO:
1. Sign in to Peakon as an administrator.
2. Click Administration in the left-side menu, select Integrations, and then click Single Sign-On.
3. Click on the drop-down menu below Require Single Sign on and select the option "Required."
4. Click Save.
Make the app visible to all users
After successfully testing the SSO, you can make Peakon available for all users to access from their My Apps page.
To make Peakon visible to all users:
1. Sign in to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
2. Go to Applications, then click Peakon.
4. You can now access Peakon from Zoho Directory's My Apps page.
