Sign Up for Zoho Projects and Create Your Portal 

To create a new portal:
  1. Navigate to Zoho Projects Sign Up Page.
  2. Enter your Company Name. This will also be your portal name. Your portal name is unique. If a portal with this name already exists, you will be prompted to enter another name.
  3. An email ID can be used to create only one portal. Once you create a portal with your email ID you cannot use the same ID to create a new Zoho Projects portal.
  4. Enter your credentials, choose your region, and sign up to create your Zoho Projects portal.

Use cases

Construction:  A construction company requires their projects to be managed using an online tool to have a better visibility of their project statuses, check if their project aligns with the budget and also, know that their projects are on track with the estimated project completion date.
 
Manufacturing: A manufacturing company produces plastic water bottles, plates, glasses and plastic covers. This company undertakes orders in bulk. The orders received from a company can be added as a project in Zoho Projects. You can check the percentage completion of the project at any point in time and the time taken to complete the project.
 
Software/ IT: A website development company undertakes orders to create websites for companies. Creation of a website involves multiple phases, such as Research and planning, design and layout, content creation, development and coding, testing and launching of the website. These can be added as phases, and each phase involves multiple tasks, which also can be tracked using Zoho Projects.
