Task Lists
Task lists in Zoho Projects allow users to group tasks and track progress. Users can create new task lists quickly using templates, set the visibility to internal and external, set automated start dates, and more. Task lists can be marked as complete once all associated tasks are finished. Chart View reports offer a visual overview of task status, user assignments, and budget health.
Use case
For instance, as a project manager, you can use Task Lists to organize and manage a software development project. Navigate to Tasks section within your project, create a task list called Bug Fixes, associating it with the upcoming Release Phase, and set its visibility to Internal for team-only access. To speed up the completion of recurring tasks, you can clone a pre-existing task list and modify the Shift Date to set the start times for each task automatically.
When project priorities change, you can move task lists from one project to another or to another phase. Additionally, you can monitor key metrics, such as task completion percentage and budget health, through Chart view. Users can also add comments to a task list from the details page and collaborate online.
