Task Lists

Task lists in Zoho Projects allow users to group tasks and track progress. Users can create new task lists quickly using templates, set the visibility to internal and external, set automated start dates, and more. Task lists can be marked as complete once all associated tasks are finished. Chart View reports offer a visual overview of task status, user assignments, and budget health.



Use cases

Architecture: An architect needs to give a floor plan, front elevation, side elevation, and interior designs. Each of them can be added as a task in the Architecture milestone. All the tasks can be grouped to be the architect's task list.
 
HR: When a new employee onboards in the company, a set of tasks such as collecting their government ID proofs, capturing their ID card photograph, office tour, etc. have to be performed by the HR team. These tasks can be grouped using a task list.
 
Software development/ IT: Quality analyst needs to carry out a set of tests to ensure that the feature development doesn't have any issues. These set of tasks are grouped together under the Task list.
