How to insert checkbox type merge fields in a document?

Follow the below steps to insert check box type merge fields in a document.

1. Insert merge fields. Refer here to insert merge fields.

2. After the merge fields have been added, select the gear shaped icon next to Manage Fields.

3. Manage Fields menu will open. Change the field type to checkbox.

4. Now based on the value of the field, the checkbox will be checked or unchecked.
