What happens when I exceed the daily merge limit?
Once you exceed 100% of the daily merge limit, Writer will automatically reset and renew the merge limit after 24 hours. Writer sets the daily merge limit based on the merge limits consumed within 24 hours on any given day.
So for example, let's say out of 100 merges, the user initiates 5 merges at 6:00 am, then they would have 95 merges left. Writer will reset and renew the daily limit at 6:00 am the next day (24 hours after the user initiated the last merge).
However, if the same user initiates another 10 merges at 7:00 am the same day, then they would have 85 merges left. At 6:00 am the next day, Writer will reset the 5 merges that the user used the previous day (24 hours after they used the first 5 merges). So now the user would have 90 merges (85+5). Then Writer will reset and renew the full limit at 7:00 am the next day (24 hours after the user initiated the last merge).
Note: This limit is applicable only for Organization level and not on individual user levels.
