Setup your Zoho Apptics account
Welcome to the Apptics world! The right place for your mobile apps. This guide helps you to get started and begin your journey with Zoho Apptics. A solution that provides transparent insights into in-app usage, behavioral analysis, and performance monitoring. The data is then used by App developers, Marketers, and Managers alike to make data-driven decisions.
Setup your Apptics account

Visit
www.zoho.com/apptics/
on your web browser and fill in your email address.

Click on Start my Free trial. Note: You can also log in using your Google, Facebook, Apple, or LinkedIn accounts.

On the Create Portal page, add the details such as Portal name, Company name, and Phone number.

The portal URL is automatically generated with the Portal name.

Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy policy.

Click Create and a Portal is created for your organization.
- Add project(s) to your Portal. Enter the project name and click Next. Select the platform for your project and click Next. Complete the configuration and integration and you are good to go.
Note:
The user who creates the Portal is the `superadmin` of the portal and has all the privileges. There can be only one superadmin for each portal whereas there can be `n` admin for the portal. An admin will also have all the privileges in the Portal. However, an admin cannot delete or update the existing portal.

Apptics is a multi-platform application analytics product. Some of the major SDKs supported are:

- watchOS
- Windows
Invite users to the Portal and Project
You can invite new members to the Portal and add them to your project. Apptics offers role-based access, where the Project Manager decides what pages can be accessed by whom in a Project. Defining specific roles is important as it is easy to manage an individual working on multiple projects with different permission levels.
You can add or invite a new member to any one of the following roles - Platform Development Lead, Platform Developer, Marketer, Platform Design Lead, Platform Designer, Testing Lead, Tester, Follower, and Client.
- Click on your profile pick on the right corner.
- Go to Portal members and click on Invite user.
- Add the email addresses of the user(s) you want to invite to the Portal. Note: You can invite multiple users in one go. Add the email addresses separated by a comma.
- Select the type of user, i.e. user or admin.
- Select the project to which the user will have access. (This is optional)
- You can also select the role for the user. (This is optional)
- Click Invite and an invitation mail will be sent to the users. The users will have to accept the mail invite, to be able to access Apptics.
Note: Only the portal members will be listed once you click on + to add Project members. If the user you are trying to add is not a Portal member, contact the Portal admin to add the user to the Portal.
