Hi everyone, and welcome back! We're closing out August with a strong final week, from Incentives for Zoho CRM bringing commission management inside the platform to Sequences in Bigin automating customer follow-ups end to end. There's also an IP allowlist update that IN data centre users should action soon. Here's everything from August 24–31, 2026.

Community Spotlight

Noteworthy contributions from the community this week.
Vivek Rai
Zoho SalesIQ Community
Running WhatsApp buttons across several landing pages and can't tell which one a lead came from? UTM parameters don't survive the jump out of the browser. Vivek Rai's workaround: give each button its own pre-filled message, then have your Zobot read it and tag the lead by source. The text is customer-editable, so treat it as a strong signal rather than a guarantee.
Damien Cregan
Zoho MVP
Zoho Creator Community
Using a function as criteria in a report filter? Damien Cregan flagged a catch worth knowing: if you're comparing against a string, Creator takes the literal function name rather than evaluating it, so the filter won't match what you expect.

Sales & Marketing

Zoho CRM

Sales commission management now lives inside CRM
Incentives for Zoho CRM is a new app in the CRM App Space that uses your existing sales data to calculate, automate, and track commissions without duplicate effort. Design plans for different sales roles and structures, whether flat, tiered, quota-based, or line item-based, trigger computation from leads, deals, invoices, or custom modules, automate approvals, and build dashboards to track commission spend and top contributors. It's included at no extra charge for now on Enterprise, Ultimate, CRM Plus, and Zoho One, though your org needs to be on the new CRM UI and there's no mobile support yet. Rolling out to Ultimate first, with other editions following.
Automate anything at every stage of your review process
Until now, review process actions were limited to notification toggles. You can now attach a function to any review action, giving you full control over what happens when a record is submitted, reviewed, rejected, or resubmitted. Send custom emails, update fields, call external services, or trigger whatever else your workflow needs.
Full Data sandbox now supports additional storage
As CRM environments grow, the default 10 GB limit for a Full Data sandbox was stopping larger organizations from creating or rebuilding one at all. You can now buy an additional 30 GB from the Storage page, or straight from the alert that appears during sandbox creation when your production data exceeds the limit. The extra storage applies only to the Full Data sandbox, not other sandbox types. You'll need the Admin profile or the View Storage permission to buy it.

Zoho Bigin

Never miss a follow-up again with Sequences
Sequences let you build and automate a series of follow-up actions for your records, so nothing depends on someone remembering. Send an introductory email, and depending on whether the customer opens it, replies, or goes quiet, the next action triggers automatically. Enroll records manually, in bulk, or automatically through custom views, and track how each sequence performs through built-in reports. Available on the Premier edition and Bigin 360, rolling out to the US, CA, and SA data centres first.
Your booking emails can now sound like you
Until now, every business using Bigin Booking Pages sent the same fixed email when customers booked, rescheduled, or cancelled an appointment. You can now edit or replace the message content in the confirmation, reschedule, cancellation, and reminder templates so they carry your own voice.

HR

Zoho Recruit

Negotiate offer terms inside Recruit with Pre-Offer
Offer negotiations often happen outside the hiring system, across emails and multiple document versions, with no clear trail. Pre-Offer brings that process into Zoho Recruit. Share proposed terms with a candidate, let them accept or request revisions, capture feedback directly on the Offer record, and run as many rounds as needed before converting to a Final Offer. Note that a candidate accepting a Pre-Offer confirms agreement on the negotiated terms but does not constitute acceptance of employment.

Legal

Zoho Sign

Verify signed documents without leaving Zoho Sign
Zoho Sign now has a Signature Panel that validates digital signatures inside the viewer, so there's no downloading the document or opening a separate PDF reader. Click the Signature Panel button on any signed document and Zoho Sign runs a full validation, with colour-coded results for every signature. Expand one to see its details, properties, and certificate chain.

Email, Storage, and Collaboration

Zoho Writer

Skip the export and send documents straight to DocuSign
If you've been generating documents from Zoho Writer templates and then exporting and re-uploading them to DocuSign, that step is gone. Configure signer fields, roles, and signing order once in your template, send to DocuSign in a click, and track signing status from Writer's Submission Log. Sign text tags convert automatically, so nothing needs reconfiguring on the DocuSign side.

Zoho Show

Turn your slides into a video, right from your phone
Export a presentation as an MP4 directly from the Zoho Show Android app, with no screen recording or third-party tools needed. Animations, transitions, GIFs, and background audio all carry over. Choose a resolution from 720p up to 4K, pick 30 or 60 FPS, and select H.264 for wider compatibility or HEVC for a smaller file.

Service

Zoho Desk

One email, one ticket, with email deduplication
When a customer emails several addresses in the same department, Zoho Desk used to create a separate ticket for each. That inflates ticket volume, splits the conversation, and throws off SLAs. Email Deduplication detects when the same email reaches multiple addresses in one department and creates a single ticket instead. It's being enabled for all customers across all data centres and editions by the first week of September 2026.

Project Management

Zoho Sprints

Onboard your team faster with in-product guidance
Getting a new team up to speed on Zoho Sprints takes time, especially when your workflows and modules are customized for your organization. Sprints now integrates with Zoho DAP, a digital adoption platform for building in-product guidance directly inside your workspace. Create walkthroughs, interactive video guides, banners, and step-by-step documentation, all surfaced to users without them leaving Sprints, with everything living in a unified Help Hub tailored to your setup.

BI and Analytics

Zoho Analytics

Deployment Management, multivariate forecasting, and faster live dashboards
Deployment Management lets you build, validate, and promote analytics content across workspaces in stages, without touching live data. Multivariate Forecasting now factors in external drivers like marketing spend, making forecast models more accurate. Data Cache for Live Connect caches summary values from your live sources and refreshes them on a schedule you set, so dashboards load faster. New connectors for Chargebee, Help Scout, and Supabase bring in more of your business data, and KPI Widgets can now show two metrics side by side. Check the announcement for the full list.

Developer Platform

Zoho Tables

MCP support, Zia Agents, Group By, and a Gantt view
Zoho Tables now supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), so you can query, create, and update records in natural language through compatible AI assistants. Zia Agents let you build custom agents on top of your Tables data and connect them across apps to automate workflows end to end. Group By clusters records into collapsible groups by any field, with multiple levels for drilling from a broad view down to the detail. And a new Gantt view puts work on a visual timeline, so you can see dependencies, track progress, and catch bottlenecks early.

Vertical Studio

Heads up: Next Gen UI comes to Vertical Studio in October
Vertical Studio is getting a full UI redesign, with cleaner sidebar-based navigation, flexible module views including Split, Grid, Chart, and Timeline, Dark Mode, configuration shortcuts in the sidebar, and Global Search. New apps launch on the Next Gen UI from 25 October 2026, and the transition becomes mandatory for all apps from 25 December. Tab Groups will be deprecated as part of the change, so it's worth reviewing any apps that rely on them. Grace periods can be requested if you need more time, and will be evaluated case by case.

Zoho Analytics & Zoho DataPrep

Action needed: update your IN data centre IP allowlists
If you're on the IN data centre and use Zoho Analytics with cloud databases, or Zoho DataPrep with IP allowlisting, six new IP addresses need adding, on your database side for Analytics and in your firewall or network allowlist for DataPrep. Add them alongside your existing entries rather than replacing anything, and do it soon: without them, connectivity breaks and scheduled imports, exports, and jobs fail.
Also worth a look: Zoho Sign has launched a Learning Hub, a free self-paced platform with courses, integration guides, and the option to book a one-to-one session.
