• Basic API search

    Hoping there is a workable scenario for this problem.  Since ZOHO is still not finished with integrating phone systems with their CRM, I thought about using an API to do it.  I can use the API getsearchrecords and return values successfully by the phone number, but the results come in unformatted XML which really isn't going to be adding speed to the sales calls.  I would like to be able to return the values into the system and open the contact or account or lead's information page.   • Lacking MAJOR Functionality and Support

    Any updates on any of our outstanding issues? There are SEVERAL. Any updates on this? This service is currently not an option for us because we are not able to enter in credit card details ourselves, then run the payments through Authorize.net within Invoice, CRM, Books. Our salespeople collect the payment information over the phone, so in order for this to work for us, we would need to be able to run payments from within Zoho Invoice/Books or Zoho CRM, and automatically run recurring monthly payments.

  • Import Googleapps Contacts by Groups

    Hi I am sure this has been reported or suggested before. The GoogleApps import contact features is great.  But needs to be able to organise by selecting which groups you want to import. The way it's currently designed makes you click through your whole contacts database individually clicking which want you want to import which is unworkable with 1000's of contacts.. Thanks EuGin

    How can I set my account up for other users in my account to see my documents, spreadsheets, crm, tasks, etc.   I have tried sharing a spreadsheet, but the other user cannot see the spreadsheet when they go through the Share app..   Thank you for your help.

    I was curious to know if anyone has used Nutshell CRM and what they think of it compared to Zoho CRM? The three things that stood out most to me about Nutshell while briefly researching them is that 1) When creating a new lead in Nutshell CRM, Nutshell automatically searches and finds if that lead / company has been entered before so you do not have a duplicate record. 2) Allows you to de-dup very quickly and easily where as in Zoho, you need to be an Enterprise user, but i have read that it still doesn't work

    It would be awesome if I could apply more than three field updates per workflow automation rule in Zoho CRM. I'm a real estate broker specializing in short sales, and have changed my contacts module to be my files module.   • "Convert Lead" always makes Contact and Account and then goes to edit the Contact screen

    In the previous Zoho CRM release, converting a lead created an account and a contact, but the next page you saw was the edit account page, and the contact was created in the background.  I don't use contacts that were created from leads (various reasons), but it was not that annoying since the contact was created in the background, and clicking "Convert" took me to the edit the account page. In the new release, the account is created in the background and "Convert" takes you to edit the contact screen.
  • BUG Report: whole number Field prints as CURRENCY

    We have a custom field called AGE, defined as a whole number with 0 decimals (which is kind of dumb that Zoho asks us to define, since whole numbers don't have decimals anyway). When we have a print out of an Account with the related details, the list of Contacts prints the AGE field in this format:  $16,00 (WRONG, it is a whole number not currency) when it should be  16 (Right) This is obviously completely wrong and it affects us in a number of ways, plus it makes us look stupid during meetings

    Hi, I have been trying with Writer to produce quick mail merges of small bunches of contacts instead of exporting them and doing it through MS Word or something.     Atm Z CRM offers the ability to add 5 web tabs to CRM, i am currently using all five. One for Z Doc's and another for a Z Creator application, which means i don't have many left to use for other pages my sales team might need.     The Creator is ideal to organize new leads, but if I have to manually re-enter all of the form data into a new contact, that is redundant.  I would greatly appreciate any assistance.   • Mail merge in Word - dating letters

    Hi   We use Zoho to generate our outbound letters. However at present. we can see no mail merge code in Zoho that enters the date of the mail merge onto to the letter. We want the date to be static and fixed to the date of generation, for future reference.   At the moment we use autotext in Word prior to uploading the template. But this is not good as it will either (1) show the date the template was uploaded (2) so that the letter shows the date of when the document is gone back into and opened.

    Hi: Thanks for backwards integrating Zoho Invoice into Zoho CRM.  The Invoices show up nicely for each customer profile (under the Zoho CRM heading).  Problem -- However, I noticed that if I want to run a report (in CRM) that details the Zoho Invoices, there is no such capability.  There is only the capability to run Zoho CRM Invoices - which I do not use because I use Zoho Invoice.  Question -- When will the capability to report on Zoho Invoice invoices be available in Zoho CRM?     Has anyone else experienced a random display order of a client's firstname/lastname? For example, if you click on an "Account" and look at the associated contacts, you might see two contacts, one reading "Firstname lastname" and the other in the same account "Lastname firstname". In all instances we have confirmed that they are input correctly in their contact detail (i.e.: their firstname and lastname are both correctly input in the right fields). What's the deal with this?     Is there anyway I can setup Zoho CRM to allow us to connect one "Lead" profile to another "Lead profile"?     I have images stored in google docs.  I don't want to cause zoho servers undue traffic and would like to put an "active" link in crm.  I know that I can do a custom field and input the URL.  But this link must be cut and pasted into a URL bar to display the image.  (ie.- its an inactive link.)   • Editing an invoice reduces the stock ... again and again!!

    Hi, Once the invoice is created, it reduces the stock. This is good. But when I edit the invoice, for non-item things like, invoice date or due date or notes it tries to reduce the stock. Essentially everytime I save the invoice it reduces the stock inventory. Is this how it supposed to work?

  • Reports causing mass duplication

    I am simply trying to run a query on our existing accounts with the following columns: Account Name Status Account Size Support Level DSM Status Account Person When I generate this report it's taking my 1101 clients and saying there are 1950 clients.  When I look at the report, a bunch of the clients are listed more than one time (sometimes up to 6).  What am I doing wrong that's generating all these duplicates?  I went into the accounts section and none of these accounts are listed twice.
