Announcing the public launch of Zoho Vault's new interface

Hello everyone,

As many of you might already know, we launched our completely refreshed web interface (beta) last March and received plenty of feedback from customers and partners worldwide. After working to incorporate your feedback and suggestions, we're delighted to announce that Zoho Vault's new interface is now live. You can now permanently switch to the new version and enjoy all the updates and enhancements, as well as try out new features such as Security Dashboard, Trash, SIEM Integration, Customizable Themes, dark mode, and much more!

How to access the new version
You can switch to our new interface by selecting Try New Interface from the top-right corner of your screen.

Things to remember
We have simplified a few product terms to help new and existing users seamlessly adopt Vault across their teams. The following are some of the new terms you'll need to be familiar with when moving from the old version.

Changes to existing features
In addition to the new features, the new version of Vault retains every feature in the old interface except for the Click-to-login bookmarklet option. This option has been deprecated in the new version due to its inherent limitations (lack of autofill on banking websites, forms designed in flash/applet, and on iframe, frameset-based pages where the frames are in different JavaScript domains). We encourage users to download our browser extensions to easily autofill passwords and auto-login to websites.

When will this change reflect for users?
Every new user signing up with Zoho Vault will access the new interface by default. For existing users, the new interface will be the default from March 1, 2021. However, users can access the new interface right away by selecting Try New Interface from the old interface as well. Going forward, all new features will be accessible only from our new interface. Users will continue to have access to the old version until June 30, 2021; after July 1, 2021, it will be EOLed (End of Life).

What does this mean for you?
If your team has already migrated to the new interface and you no longer use the old version, you'll not be required to take any action. However, if you have not yet tried the new version or have switched back to the old version, please let us know how we can help you transition by writing an email to support@zohovault.com. We'll promise to address any questions or concerns quickly.

We're constantly working towards addressing other feedback in the upcoming releases as well. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us over email or phone. We'll be glad to help.

Cheers,
The Zoho Vault team
