Create an automated workflow with different applications using Zoho Forms and Zoho Flow integration

Integration helps establish a connection between applications to create automated workflows. If you’re a Zoho Forms' user, then you probably know about some awesome integrations like Zoho Forms with Zoho CRM or Zoho Sign, and more.

Zoho Forms offers direct integration with many applications. These integrations make life easier, but what if the workflow you want to create involves more than one application, or there’s no direct connection available?

That's where Zoho Flow swoops in to save the day. The Zoho Forms integration with Zoho Flow helps trigger actions in different applications simultaneously to automate your workflow. With this integration, you can trigger up to five actions per form submission, leveraging the capabilities of either the same application or five different applications from Zoho's suite of 150+ connectable apps. This helps streamline repetitive tasks and save your valuable time.

How does it work? 


Say you're planning a webinar and want to streamline the promotion process while ensuring you don't forget to spread the word on social media. Wonder how to do all that at once?

The solution is simple; you can use Zoho Flow to automate tasks and create a workflow to effortlessly manage everything in one place. Connect your form with applications like Zoho Meeting and Slack. How do you configure it? 
 
1. Create your form

Design Zoho Form with fields for personal reminder message, reminder time, group message, name, and email.

Note: You can choose to get these inputs from the user or configure them directly in action settings.

2. Integrate Zoho Flow with other apps

Integrate your Zoho Forms with Zoho Flow and choose the desired application to configure; in our case, Slack and Zoho Meeting. Refer to the Zoho Flow Integration help page to set up the integration.

3. Configure actions

Action 1: Schedule webinar using Zoho Meeting

This action directly schedules a webinar upon triggering the flow.

In the action setting, provide the webinar topic and the presenter's email ID to schedule the webinar. You can also choose to add the start time, duration, and participants’ email addresses.

Action 2: Send a public-channel message using Slack

This action ensures that everyone on the team stays informed by sending a message to the designated public channel.

In the action setting, configure the public channel name, message, and user name to send the message.

Action 3: Create a reminder using Slack

This action schedules a personal reminder to prompt you to do a task.

In the action setting, configure the user to remind, the reminder message, and the reminder time.

4. Execute your actions

Once a user submits the Zoho Form, Zoho Flow triggers the actions. With just a single click, a webinar gets scheduled, a message is sent to the specified public channel to ensure that everyone on your team is informed about the upcoming event, and a reminder message is set to prompt you to share it with your network at the specified time.
