I once read a study that said the most east to read font size is 11 point size. Maybe so. Don't know. But I do suggest that you add 11 pt size to your list of point size options. wade.whitme
emails about sharing documents
Google Docs allows users to send themselves a copy of the email when a document is shared; this is helpful because you know the message went out. Also, Google Docs sends the email with the user's email address as the "from" address, allowing the recipient to reply. Right now, there's no easy way to notify someone that you received their invitation to share a document. danbutcher
Unable to edit a shared document that was sent as editable
I have a zoho account, and set one up for my mother. I then created a document for her that would be editable for a group. I checked the box for the invited group members to be able to edit the document. However, when I click on the email that I recieved as a member of that group, I cannot edit the document -whether I am signed into zoho or not. johnfrisbi
Paste from clipboard/Insert Todays Date
I am playing with Zoho Writer to see if I can recommend it to my clients. I could not copy & paste text form other websites or documents. Is this a bug or not a feature in the current beta version? Header and Footer in templates
Hi, I'm new to this program. I cannot find how to add the header and footer in templates. Can someone kindly advise how to do that? Or the header and footer are supported for documents, but not templates? If not, it should be. Cannot view shared doc
Hi guys, A colleague has sent me a shared writer doc and I've registered, but that doc does not appear in my list. When I click on the link in the email confirmation, I can see the doc, but can't edit it and when I log into writer, it is not in any of my shared doc lists. Rick

I am inexplicably taken from place to place in my writer documents, for no reason that I can see. I'll just be working, and then, all of a sudden, I am taken to the beginning or last page of my documents. Often it happens when the little circle stops spinning.

I found that Zoho is not importing pages properly. Some times it imports two words withput space in between them. Please, fix this as I cannot believe Zoho does that. Thanks. vikyboss

Left/Right/Center Justify...
I've had some issues with getting it to work correctly. In NURS704, it justifies the whole document, (not just the specific line.) In NURS611, it doesn't justify at all. michaelatigh

I found Google gears to be taking a lot of resource always. It is running always. Please find some other ways to bring docs offline. I heard that Microsoft sync is more powerful and futuristic than Google gears. vikyboss

Selected text doesn't stay selected
I am wondering if others are seeing this behavior. When I select text in Zoho Writer, unless I am very quick about performing an action on the selected text, and very often even if I am quick, part but not all of the selected text will become unselected, with the selection being lost at either the beginning or the end of the selected text, or both. This has been consistent behavior since I began using Zoho about 6 months ago, spanning several updates of Firefox 2.x. I have seen no equivalent behavior

Problem in writer
I am faing problem whenI Open Zoho writer at my laptop.I opens fine on my office computer, but at my home it opens and then I get an browser error and it closes that window.I can open other applications like wiki,planner etc but not writer. What could be the reason? karnav
Document Titles
There should be an easy way to change the title of a document. I tried right-clicking (in Windows), but that did not work. I tried saving the document as a new document and retitling it that way, but that did not work either. Thanks, and best wishes to you. slipstream6
styles
I imported a simple HTML file. It contains "<code>" sections (not block level " ", but inline "<code>"). I cannot assign this style to new text. I didn't find how to create new styles either. The FAQ doesn't seem to contain the word "style" anywhere. Did I miss something, or is this just intended to be some sort of online Wordpad-like program where all formatting is supposed to be done manually? Thanks, RD rduke15

Bookmarking Documents
I think Zoho's interface is better than Google's! I also love the Google Gears offline feature (need to do that for Sheet). I also like that the docID includes the document title. But... I wish that there was a one-button way to bookmark (copy a link) to the document, that would allow me to open Zoho Writer to that document, the way I can in Google Docs. In Zoho Writer, I can copy the link, but that link opens the document in Zoho Writer without the left MY DOCS nav panel, and without the topline
Losing position in text when switching tabs
Anyone else have the problem that when you switch to a different tab (i.e. document) and then back to the first one, zoho writer automatically takes you back to the beginning of that document? It is very annoying. Sometimes, I'd like to quickly flick and compare between the middle of two different documents and this bug stops you doing this. Many thanks

Collaborator feature
The document is share but will not show up in the Collaborator box. Worked perfectly the other day, now will not. It says in the left pane "you need to share this document to discuss here" it is shared, read/write. The other party can edit it but the dynamic interface is lost??? digitaldig
my folders are not working
The default folders (my docs, shared files) are mostly working fine, but Trash and all of my custom folders are not displaying the files within. For example, I have nearly 200 files shared. About 30 of them should be in a "pending" folder (and were a few days ago). Now nothing displays in the pending folder. Nothing displays in Trash either, and I have a bunch of files in Trash (that I can't see, so I don't know if I can empty the trash folder). I have tried going to a doc and using the "create a

Formatting buttons invisible when using white text on black
Just registered on Zoho today after reading a tech blog that praised you guys over Google Docs (which I've been using for 4 months now). I like what I see so far, but just like G-Docs, all the formatting buttons are not visible at all. Only buttons that have text on them are visible. Difficulty with Microsoft Plugin
Hi - Great Product! I am having difficulty with the Microsoft plugin. I can't login into Zoho it gives me "An error occurred while configuring the local setup for the user. I was unable, after many unsuccessful attempts, to import a simple 3-page .doc (Word Document) file with little formatting and only a few pictures. The screen simply went gray after one minute.
