New to Zoho - How to ensure integrity of confidential company information?
Hello - our company is new to ZOHO CRM and we're wondering how we can best protect our company's confidential information i.e. customer information, price lists, quotations, sales performance etc. I have tried to find information on the website however I cannot seem to find anything. Is there someone I can speak to or is there a standard set of security protocols that we can leverage? Please advise and thank you, Lance Davis
What do you do if the lead name changes
Hi, how can you transfer all the data on one lead to another if the lead name changes? The lead name has resigned and I want to move all the historic data over to the new name
Usin ZOHO CRM in Safari on my iPad

Hello CRM community, So......When a case is opened, it inevitably results in a task or a series of tasks for the rest of the team. We have some team members who simply create appropriate tasks for the appropriate user when a client calls in with an issue and do not create a case. However, we have some other team members who create a case and then go about assigning the tasks needed to clear up the case. Hi there, Before I start - I am speaking from an end-user perspective. I have a developer working on my site - so I'm not too clued up with the coding bits. We have a web-to-lead form for enquiries on a new Toyota Etios at http://www.toyota-etios.co.za . The developer probably has some sort of javascript form to handle the form - as it pops up in a box, when clicking enquire. The form code is based on the Zoho generated code. Sorting options, CRM Contacts
Hi, Could you advise me a way of sorting my contacts by account type? Since i can not send out email to all contacts related to an account from the account-tab, i need to do it via the contacts tab. Lets say i want to send out an email to all contacts related to accounts of the type "customers".. As i see it, i can only sort the contacts by account-name and not by type, account-owner etc... What is your advice? Other question: When using the mass email option, it would be very nice to have the option

Autocreate potentials
Hi, Is there a way to auto-create potentials? Example: We sell a car to a client and update our CRM>potentials accordingly. Automatically a new potential for same client is created in order to sell more to this client. (better stereo, four new winther tyres, an additinal insurance etc...) Sales manager sharing leads with subordinates
I'm having trouble getting sharing working the way I want it. I have a sales manager who is over two organizations. He's able to see all the leads of his subordinates. The problem is that he has leads assigned to him. These leads are either in Region 1 or Region 2. He wants the sales people in Region 1 to see his leads in Region 1 and wants the sales people in Region 2 to see his leads in Region 2. However, he doesn't want the sales people in Region 1 to see the leads in Region 2 - and vice versa.

Automate emails with workflow
Is there a way to automate emails to all contacts in an account when a condition in a particular field meets a criteria or changes? We know it is possible to send an email to the parent account using workflow when something happens in a contact, but is the reverse possible in the Enterprise edition?
How do you use the Opportunity and the Quoatation modules differently?
This may seem like a stupid question, but I would really like to know how do you use the "Opportunities" and the "Quoation" modules. I feel like they're the same. And the Quoatation module actually has more useful and specific fields like the products and their values, but in the Opportunity you only have a single field for the Amount Value. I'm new to CRM and I don't understand the need for "Opportunities" anymore. But the "Sales Funnel" is useful only in Opportunities and NOT in Quoatations

Created Date without Created Time
Hello, Is there a way to create a view in Contacts that shows only the "Created Date" without the Time? We need to make an email template for following up old contacts, and want to include something like: "Hi NAME, you contacted us on DATE to enquire...." having the exact time there incl. minute sounds a bit weird. Or can this be at least done via an export so we can email merge via Outlook with that Field? Kenneth
Function fields in Zoho CRM
I would like to use Zoho function fields in CRM. Setting-up the function is pretty easy. But I do not see any value in the field when I select a specific field. When setting up a function-field I get a weird warning message at the begining. Unfortunately, I have no idea what it says, because its translation into German is totally wrong. Any ideas what to do to get the function field working? Thanks in advance.
On Contact Page Potential field is empty
I have a problem as captured below at the moment in that If i open a contact , potentials attached to it do not appear. I know there is a potential for this contact as i created it and can see if I search for this contacts name in the potentials result. Notice also that I dont have the possibility to " create a potential ". I have seen and struggled with this type of problem from time to time . Sometimes activities are " blank " and i dont have the option to create a new task either. I cant see

CRM Calendar Issue
Hi, When I create an event in the CRM that is longer than an hour it only visually blocks out 1 hour on the calendar no matter how long the event lasts. I would like to ask that the visual representation of the event match the length in the event details. Bug: Importing an empty column in excel is not cosidered as empty
I have had great problems with this until i figured out what happened. When you import an excelsheet into the contacts module and it has a column in the sheet which does not contain data on every row it seems that during the import process Zoho CRM writes the empty cells to the mapped fields in Zoho and from then on those fields are considered not empty. Emailing ONE Lead based on rules
Is there a way to e-mail ONE lead based on a criteria they meet on a modified Lead form? Before we distribute leads we qualify one on one and then if they do not qualify to be contacted by a rep, we send them a thank you email but would like this to generate when we select a modified field on the Lead. is this possible?

Quick Entry from Pulse Module?
Here is an idea to really help speed things up. Make a quick entry from the Pulse Module of frequent quick entry things, like Call, Task, Event, and Note That would make things easier and reduce the time spent clicking and going back and clicking more.
De-selecting Pick List Options

Expected revenue 0.0 after stage is set to closed won
We have multiple projects which are set as closed/won. Some of them show an expected revenue correctly. The others seem to show 0.0. If I look down at stage history, closed won shows the correct expected revenue. Why would the stage history reflect closed/won with correct expected revenue, but at the top of the opportunity, it shows 0.0?

Lead Assignment Limited to 20 rules
Why the limitation of 20 lead assignment rules? What happens in the scenario of having 50 sales reps each selling a specific product. We cannot use lead assignment because there is a limitation via web-to-lead as there are only 20 rules available? Is there anyway to get above this cap?

Web to Lead form does not attach automatic email to lead
When I create a new lead using a web form. I have set the system to email the new lead automatically, but this email is not attached to the lead. Is there a way to attach this automatic email to the lead?
Web-to-Lead Form Mapping of Title
The code for the web-to-lead form maps the Designation field to the Title field in the Lead and not the Salutation field. How can this mapping be corrected? Or how can a value for the Salutation be set? I am generally confused as to why there is a Title field and a Salutation field - what is the difference? Salutation is a pick list and therefore contains titles (Mr,Ms etc.). Title is a text field but it is not clear what values would go in here.
