Migrating from dynamics CRM to Zoho question about workflows?
In CRM 2011 I have a custom field called order win date. Then I have a drop down called sales stage. I have a workflow that if sales stage is changed to "ready to submit" it will stamp the current date as the order win date field. Am I able to do this as well in Zoho? This is a big requirement for me, it just needs to trigger on an opportunity that's been saved when that one field is changed. Thanks!
Change the columns in associated view of potentials etc under account?
Is there any way to change the view? For example, when I open an account, it shows contacts, potentials etc. Potentials just shows: Name, Amount, Stage, Probability, Closing Date, and Time. I am looking to migrate from Dynamics CRM 2011 but I have other fields shown in this type of view, like order type, etc. Can I customize that view to show other fields?

Cannot update Secondary Email field
I manually added a secondary email and it did work just great. However, I have quite a few contacts with an email address in a field I created (called Personal Email). I now want to copy all those address to the new Seconday Email field. Since Zoho does not have a copy field function (which it should), I have used Zoho Sheet View to do this with other fields. Potentials Closing This Month BUG
POTENTIALS VIEW: Closing This Month I have tested this and confirmed that there is a BUG in the Potentials Closing this Month View I reported this before, but could not prove it - now I can. Many of our potentials were not showing up in previous months and there was no way to verify. However, today I noticed that a large group of potentials that were dated 7/31/09 were not appearing on the view, but ones dated 7/30/09 DID appear. So I changed the 7/31/09 to 7/30/09 and they all magically appeared
Log A Call
Please do not make the Call Start Time and Call Duration mandatory fields. I simply want to log the fact that a lead either called in with a question or that we called them for something. I am not tracking the time that we spend doing this task.

Zoho CRM on your own domain
I was wondering if it was already possible, or if it is a feature that might get implemented where Zoho acts as if it were hosted. New Contact Module - PHone No. Lookup
On the New contact page - When I enter a new phone number it used to "pre-select" simlar phone numbers as I typed the digits in so I could see if the phone number was already in file prior to creating another duplicate record. More than one conversion
In our sales process, there are two points of conversion - one when the Suspect (Lead) is validated and becomes a Prospect and another when the Prospect is converted to a Customer. Is it possible to add this second conversion into Zoho CRM? At the moment I can only convert from Lead which then populates both Prospect and Customer data, bypassing some important steps for us in the sales process.

Zoho CRM Adding Duplicate Items
Hello, I'm having trouble and Zoho Support says it can't be something wrong with Zoho in this case. When adding a new note or a meeting or anything in Zoho on occasion it adds it twice. I have tried in IE and Firefox and I KNOW I am not clicking it twice. Has anyone else had this issue? It's really annoying.
Giving Credit Where Credit is due
I want to take a moment to publicly note the improved responsiveness of the ZCRM support team in the forums. I have noticed that the team has been doing a much better job of quickly responding. I also find that the new "Status" labels that are applied to forum posts are helpful as well In the past I have scolded the ZCRM team when I felt they were not paying attention. Age of opportunity or date range to trigger alert.
We want to set up an alert when an opportunity is older than 45 days and status is proposal. I cannot seem to get an "age" for the opportunity or set a rule to trigger 45 days after create date and status = "proposal". Workflow Criteria Trigger Dates
I would like to have a task triggered when a Potential has not been modified for over a week. How do I do this? Ex. Create task when Today's Date equals Modified Date plus 7 days. or Create task when Modified date equals Today's Date minus 7 days. Is there a way to do this?
Money symbols on Templates
I am adding some custom fields into the Inventory Templates that are numeric. The templates, when I export as PDF or print a Quote, Sales Order or Invoice will always show the money symbol (COP$ in my case) to all custom numeric fields, but they were not programed as money fields. Custom Fields
It said I could make 130 custom fields so I planned for that and then it turned out I could only make 60 custom fields. Formula Error working with Text Fields
The following formula checks out syntax wise but generates an incorrect result. Concat(${Contacts.Mail Intro},' ',${Contacts.Last Name}) Example: Mail Intro = Todd & Toni Last Name = Young I should get Todd & Toni Young. Formula above evaluates to Todd Toni' Young (note the missing & and got an unwanted ' ) This was tested on these two fields and then I changed the contents of both fields, and tried replacing the last name field with a different custom text field. All gave similiar results

Associate Web-to-Lead to Campaign
I'm setting up a couple clients for Web-to-Lead forms. Since there is no way to automatically add them to a specific campaign, we've added a field that they can use to manually/visually associate the new lead to an existing campaign. I need to link two contacts in Zoho CRM. I operate a nonprofit that has Sponsors and Students (3rd world students.) Is there a way to link these two together? Workflow Changes
I've reported this to support, but wanted to get feedback from the user community. The recent workflow modifictions are a real improvement I think as it's easier to create workflows. Has anyone run into the new restrictions on number of rules/module or number of tasks per rule? Perhaps workflow isn't being used that much, but a 5 task business process is all that can be built now with the engine. (your restricted on alerts as well, but we use mostly tasks) I don't know many business processes
Firefox 4.1
After the latest Firefox update (4.1) to pop-up boxes/calenders in Zoho CRM no longer work. Still works OK with Chrome but I prefer Firefox
Search facility down & not loading properly
Please help. The search facility is not working (since the appearance etc of the website changed). Also, when saving or deleting a lead, it continually loads to a blank page. Please could someone rectify these issues as they are making working on ZoHo very tedious and time-wasting. Thank you.
Can you customize fields that appear in "Details" listed under account/contact/etc.?
For example, when viewing an account, a summary view for 'Contacts' (or what is considered Account Details in the setup admin) is displayed below for the contacts associated with that account.... By default, 'Contact Name', 'Title', 'Department', 'Email', 'Phone', and 'Mobile' are included as a fields. Can I change these so another field is displayed, like 'Contact Status' instead of 'Mobile'? Thanks! Michael
