importing leads from excel worksheet
hi there, i'm new to zoho and just starting using the crm and am wondering if someone can help me to load these. there are some merged fields that are not mapping properly and i also cannot figure out how to map some custom fields. is there a support phone line where i can just ask someone this question? i emailed support with a copy of the spreadsheet and the same questions last week but have heard nothing back...is the forum the best place to get answers for questions like this? thanks so much,
Zoho CRM Iphone App?
Is there an iphone app coming anytime soon for Zoho CRM? I use Zoho crm now and it is great, but an app for my iphone would be awesome. I would like to be able to create quotes for my desiccant bags products and post potentials from my phone. I know that vtiger has an app, but I like Zoho CRM better. Any feedback or a time line would be great to hear.
Access matrix to potentials.

I'm finding that an administrator would benefit from being able to proxy login a user or test user while testing changes to profile/roles and workflow. Easier than having to log out and log back in as another user. FYI

accepting payment for sales orders and invoices
We recently setup an authorize.net account. We have been using quickbooks online to create sales orders and invoices but would like to keep all sales processes in crm. Is there any payment integration being developed for Zoho CRM? I have been looking at info@hand which is built from sugarcrm. The quickbooks integration is also enticing.

ZOHO writer mail merge: only works for 1 user, not for the others
We created a template for mail merge in Zoho Writer. It works fine for 1 user. However, it doesn't work for the other 4 users: the mail doesn't fetch the CRM data and gives and error message. All users have the same rights, use the same browser. Someone any idea what's happening?
3 Dates For Events? Drive Me Bonkers
I made customer field titled 'Renewal" and set a date. Now I want to remind myself but documentation seems out of date (there's no 'remind me' button or tick) Can I set a reminder all by itself for an account? Right now all I can see is: 1. Go to Account and below, click on New Event. *2. Mandatory Settings for Start Date Time, End Date Time 3. Click Recurring Activity *4. Sales Rep vs Admin Activity Permissions?
Our sales reps were unable to see the Admins activities that were entered in the client record, but they were able to view other sales reps entries. I went into Data Sharing Settings and changed the "Activities" status to Public Read/Write/Delete. I don't want the reps to be able to edit or delete any activity that wasn't created by them or assigned to them. They should only be able to view activities that were created by their predecessor. Sharing subset of information with another user
Sorry if this is a silly question. If I have an admin role and there is a sales rep role below me and I wish to share only a small subset of accounts or account information how do I achieve this. ie. I cant see where you can say create a team and mark an account or some account contacts or account tasks etc "to be shared" with another user ??
Customizing Zoho CRM for SaaS business model
I was wondering if anyone could help me customize Zoho CRM for the following business model. We provide SaaS service like Zoho with monthly subscribers. I need to track usernames, passwords, software license numbers, type of software, trial start date, trial end date, billing start date, monthly price. We bill twice a month so I also need to invoice for prorata usage. If someone could please help me with where I should capture what information. I want to avoid creating a new product for every user.

Can't access my report!
Have clients I send a Potential/Activities report to weekly and have been doing so for months....two columns...one for Subject and the other for Activities summary by date. Last week when I tried to access my custom report I received an error notice..."sorry for inconvenience". Price controls Products, Invoices, Quotes
I need to be able to give different sales people different price books that they are aloud to use but not provide a price lower then the list price, if they charge more they get more commission so I don't care about the upper bound. Web to Contact Form has stopped working AGAIN!
We are having continual problems with our web to contact form. It will work fine for months and then suddenly stop working for no reason at all. Our computer person will go in, have to regenerate the code through Zoho, and usually this has fixed the form in the past. But it never stays permanently fixed. I have had dozens of clients go to this form to fill it out - spend 1 to 2 hours on it, and submit it, and the info never gets into my Zoho CRM. So the only way I find out there is a problem

Hi all, I would like to be advised when one of my clients' account expires. But the choice is limited : I can create an alert so as to be informed 1 day earlier only. Is it possible to change the formula (---> ${TOMMOROW} ) into more precise terms ( one or two weeks earlier i.e) ? Feedback on "Export to PDF"
Hi - I just wanted to provide some feedback, and suggestions to users, regarding the "Export to PDF" function for quotes, orders, etc. The PDF output looks very different from the Print Preview output. The Print Preview looks very nice, but in the PDF the fonts look different, alignment is different, even the horizontal lines are jagged in places. So, this may be something to fix up a little. Definitive answer about "Event" Subject line please.
There are lots of threads answering parts of this question but I would like to try and get a definitive answer on the changeability of the "Subject" line in the "Event Module" please. Can I change the "required status" of the Subject field or change the state of the Subject field to be a drop-down or another type of field? I dont mind at all the required status but I would like to be able to use a more specific indicator of the type of event other than plain "Subject."? Thanks you!
Pop up Events - Now open in a new window when clicked on......
Up until recently clicking on a popped up event would open in the current Zoho window.......now they open in a new window.....this is annoying for us...... Is there a setting we can change? Chris
