How to change the NAME of a required field?
I understand that Zoho has Mandatory/Required fields (no idea why, with some simple code this could be rectified)...... But how do you change the name of such fields. For example....I need to change the Last Name field to just NAME or in the Solutions module....change the field Solutions Title to something more descriptive?

Hi, So we have a web to case form where people ask things like : "How do I turn on my new xxxxx" and it makes a case, and creates a task for someone to answer it. Because they ask it so often, we have a Solution written "How to turn on your xxxx, do this, do this .." But ... there seems to be no way from a case to send by email the solution to the guy with the problem. Hi I'm setting up Zoho. I'm logged in as the CEO with admin privileges. For some reason, I'm getting the message that I don't have permission to view the callendar. What did I do? I have almost 300 accounts that we process everyday. The updates on each of these accounts need to be emailed to their respective owners. Can we do this via Zoho? If so, how? "Invitees" in Activity are not linked to Contacts
Hi there, I am currently evaluating Zoho CRM for a customer of mine and am really happy with many aspects of it. What puzzles me, however, is that invitees in an activity are not being linked to the actual contact records. Instead, invitees just show up as "dead" text. This creates major inconvenience in case you want to quickly jump from an activity to a related contact. Am I missing something here? Is there an easier way to accomplish a relationship between an activity and a contact? Thanks a lot
New Social Pulse and web tabs
Team, The new pulse service does not open correctly in the CRM web tab system. We add the pulse web tab URL: https://pulse.zoho.com/portal/intranet/ When you try to activate that tab it opens a new window outside of the CRM platform. The CRM platform URL then switches to the Pulse platform. Thanks
Dashboards not working?
Every time I click on my dashboards (I have 4 bar charts configured) only 2 or sometimes 3 will show up. The others stay blank. Is this normal? It's random which 2 or 3 show up each time I go there.

Some simple reports & calculations needed - Stock/Inventory Management
Other than exporting the Products, and then playing around in spreadsheets manually, is there any way that I can see, from Zoho CRM the value of my stock on hand? There are already fields which list the amount of stock on hand (say for example 3 units) and there is a field which lists the cost of each item (say $1) so it would be pretty easy, one would think, to develop a calculation/report which would show me the value of the stock on hand ($3 in this example). However, it does not seem to be possible
Zoho CRM notes not showing
When I type a note in a crm record, and click on SAVE, it does not show up in the list of notes. I have tried refreshing the page but it is not working. Please respond ASAP

Reports come up blank
Many of my reports will be running fine one day the next when I click on a dashboard graph to look at the report detail or even just run a report that I know has data in it, the report will show no data. Need to some help to get this to stop.

I am interested in learning more about how the activities functions work and how others have used them. The main problem I find with it so far is I am unable to perform status updates to activities. I want the ability to create an activity and log sub activities/updates within that activity rather than opening multiple activities and then closing them. I have a Google apps domain and have enabled crm and purchased the mail and mobile addons for my users. In the past we were able to send email through the crm, but now we are receiving a "unable to send mail, verify that the name and value is appropriate error. Can't figure this out. Help. Auto sending emails to customers
I'd like to be able auto-send notification emails to our customers when a record is edited. In instance one, I've created an "Order Status" box in Sales Order, as well as a "Tracking Number" box. I've created a rule that sends an email to the appropriate sales rep, but I'd like to skip that step and have it go direct to the customer as well. In the second, similar, instance, I'd like to auto-generate an email to the customer when a Sales Order is created, indicating that their order has been received
Simple Formula I'm Struggling With

Potential Revenues
Hello: Is there a way to calculate company revenue on a sale that might include cash as well as "in kind" (trade)? For example, a deal might be worth $1,000 with $500 being cash and $500 being trade. Zoho CRM Free Edition is free for 3 users. Does this mean I can still use it for free if I enable only 3 people to use Zoho CRM in my company (disable all the rest of the people not to use the Zoho CRM)?
