Is there a way to customize the "account number" field in "accounts" to accept alphanumeric input?
My company issues alphanumeric account numbers. Rather than try to get a Fortune 200 company to overhaul their system, I was hoping for a way to get Zoho to accept letters, not just numbers. Any ideas?
Browser Verification isn't working correctly
For some reason my browser verification process isn't working. The Zoho message indicates the verification will last for 180 days on that given browser but I'm having to verify each time I open the browser.

Zoho CRM running very slowly

Share problems for Professional Subscription
I have 2 roles role A and role B on the same level I did what the guide says in creating group in every combination possible and "Assistant VP" could not share "VP Fly executive" Leads. I do not have " Data sharing Rules" because I have the professional edition. I even put both persons in the same role, activated share with people in the same role and still one user could not see other user leads. I'm in the initial stages of implementation, but is really important to get this right. Simple

Related-to does not show all options
I have created a few custom modules and all but one of them appears on the "Related to" list in the Activities module. What have I done wrong? I cannot see any difference in the settings of each of the custom modules, in terms of related lists, lookups and so on. The Related-top drop-down in the Activities module simply refuses to show the latest custom module I have created. Any ideas why? There are 8 options in the drop-down menu and I want the 9th one added...!
Automated Workflow Emails Do Not Show All Recipients
I have set up several automation rules that email various people when events occur. For example, when a sales order is approved by management, an approval email automatically goes out to accounting, the sales rep, and the warehouse. However, each recipient is emailed separately, so they don't know what parties have received the same emails. This causes redundant emails to be forwarded as people don't know who received the same email. Am I missing something, or is it impossible to set up recipients

When I convert a lead, the account dissapear and the lead dissapear. The data is missing.
The lead has customs fields and and the whole form is modified. The account form was also modified and all the new fields were mapped among them. The data is uploaded in bulk to the leads. When I try to convert a lead into an account, the lead dissapear, but doesn´t get converted into an account. The data is just missing. I hope someone can help us, thanks.

Having Trouble with email integration
I have the professional level and the campaigns. I want to simply send an email to some leads and keep track but can't see how to link up. we traditionally have used outlook so I need to set up to send emails from zoho to look like they are from our email address. I understand that the replies will return to outlook and that I will have to cut & paste to track in zoho. This is a nuisance though. I am not finding in zoho crm where to initiate a one time email to a lead?

Is it possible to select leads (or contacts) within CRM that have been synced to Campaigns and that were opened in an email campaign? I want to prioritize these leads for a warm call while working within CRM.

Hi I created a multiple selection field on my Leads module, and I did not choose a Default value because we dont always need it. But when we create new Leads, ALL of the values get selected automatically, even if we don´t "fill" that field, we still get ALL of the options automaticaly for all of our leads. How can we avoid this???? it should be off automatically
New Project from CRM
When creating a new project from the Opportunity of the CRM module there is not an option to add the project to the Projects predefined Project Group in Projects. This feature is available when creating a new project in projects. The lack of this feature put the newly created project from CRM into the Ungrouped projects category. It is then necessary to go to projects and edit the project and assign it to the correct group. Otherwise the project is created in projects and then associated to the opportunity.

Sync with Microsoft Exchange and Outlook for Mac
I have a Mac and email through outlook 2011 running on the exchange 365 platform. I also have an iPhone and iPad. Is there a way to set it up so everything would sync together. Can you sync through exchange since the only add-on is for outlook for a PC? I just want to be able to add a contact on my iPhone and it syncs to outlook and Zoho. Unit Price vs List Price and their rolls in creating PO's
We are a distributor for many different manufactures and I am trying to figure out how to tailor the system to our company. Can I omit the need to put the list price on a PO? I figured the unit price would reflect the price on the PO and the list price would be the customers cost.

Quick Question: In the price books tab, I have set up a few price books, each price book has a few products included in each. When I view a price book, it only shows unit price (column/list view). Territory Management, Assign Territories, "Mailing country" not available to create rule?
Hi, I am trying to get territories (based on countries) to be set automatically when I convert my leads to contacts. In the lead and contact I have the field "Mailing country" but to create rules I only have "Billing Country" and "Shipping Country" avaliable which is probably why my assignment doesn't work. How come I can't set territory based on "Mailing country" ?, Any workarounds
Cannot delete a contact
I have been de-duplicating some contacts as I'm importing from many different files. I keep getting notice every time I check the contact and use the "delete" button on my contact view screen. So I checked the box on the notice thinking it would stop showing when I tried to delete the next contact but instread it has now prevented me from deleting and contacts. It's like the delete button on my contact view has now been disabled. Anyone come across this? So do I somehow need to switch the notice

Outlook Contact Sync - Only Syncs Records Edited in Last 3 Months
I have just been advised by Zoho support that the Outlook plugin that syncs contacts from Zoho to an Outlook Contact folder only syncs contacts that have been edited within 3 months. We are trying to get our team to use Zoho CRM and sync the full contact list to their Outlook system so that they always have full contact details for all our clients on their phone.
